from the Book of Satan, chapter I verse 5.

"Before none of your printed idols do I bend in acquiescence, and he who saith "thou shalt" to me is my mortal foe."

heres where it might piss off alot of people....

my interpretation of this is attacking both pagan and christian followers. to me, this means anyone trying to tell me what to do or what to believe can go suck an egg pretty much!

what do you all think?

I think that it is not my buisness telling anybody else what to belive. There are others that donīt share my view of this. But to me I belive that I have no buisness telling anybody else that what they belive is wrong. It might be wrong for me but right for other people. Simple and plain....

Well isn't he just a little rebel now. Like didn't we know his nature when we started this. :rollingla And this should surprise us; NOT.

Personally I don't care about the nature of the man that wrote the words. If the words speak to me I will read them.

Save the preacher his breath, for he shall not save my soul.

Aren't we all?! no one is going to make our lives better or save us except us!
I've always had that view and i think alot of other people especially in this day and age have it as well.....so is that Satanism or just common sense?!
that is why Christianity is a dying religion.......well in my opinion any way! ;)

Yes. A lot of us just don't know it yet.

I think that it's a statement about being second to no god - self-created or otherwise. Which means, I actually agree with Rudas - this is aimed at all religions - not a particular attack or gesture specifically geared toward Christianity or any other one.

The second portion, at least to me, means that he (you) should take orders from no man, woman, or god.
