More Than One Sign

I was reading in this book that if you were born within 5 days or so of the sign changing, (I was born on August 27th, right between the end of the Leo sign and at the beginning of the Virgo sign.). I was born in between leo and virgo and I relate completely to Gemini as well... I was wondering if there could be some astrological reason for this...

the exact date of when one sign stops and another begins are not the same date every year, have you checked how they fell the year of your birth?

I have read the cusp theory, that if a person is born so close to the exit of one sign and entry of the next that they may have the characterisitcs of both sun signs, which might explain the Leo/Virgo aspect you speak of.

Considering that Gemini falls months before those other two signs I can only guess that you may have many Gemini planets or perhaps your Moon. That would certainly have you aligned with Gemini energies.

Perhaps too you are a Gemini Rising?
Or Mercury may be at your Ascendant or Miheaven?

I never really bought into the cusp thing, There are two many other reasons for the influence, Where is Mercury, that would be the biggest influence from a close sign, Venus can't get too far away it's placement would effect the cusp theory, as would the rising sign and the Moon. You are the sign you are...the other planets explain the rest...

When one seriously studies personalities within the framework of the Sidereal Zodiac, that cuspal implications are non-existant. One is born under one sign or another, but never a mixture of the two especially by one Luminary. This factor takes much of the guess work out of especially sun-sign delineation.

My cousin is accually born on December 21st! And she's like so shes Sagitarius and Capricorn at the same time!#

Well i was born three minutes after midnight on June 22nd ... but cancer just DOESN'T fit my personality ... Gemini is definetly my personality !

the moon was in Aries at the time of your birth..

your moon sign can influence your personality too...

With your moon in aires, and your sun on the cusp of gemini/cancer, that could be why you relate to Gemini.

If you are born on the exact day of the sign changing you will have the charicteristics of both. I am a Virgo and a Libra because the 23rd of September is a switch day.

Your ascendant plays a big part in your personality, especially how you know yourself. oftentimes, you don't see yourself as, or relate to your sun sign, because that is one part of your chart. the sun represents how others see you, usually at first impression types of meetings. You don't usually see yourself in that way. most people look at themselves and how they interact with friends, or people they know, which can often be quite different from how you might act around people you don't know (sun sign influence). people who know you very well see both, and some even your moon sign, which is how you carry your emotions.

This might help in explaining how you can't really see yourself as your sun sign.

Oh yea! Leo on the Cusp of Cancer baby here. I am the most emotionally caring, sensitive, show off, pridefull person I know :) And I love it, they go together really well. :)

i was born on the cusp of libra and scorpio on oct. 23 but i have more traits of a libra so thats what i concider myself.
