I had a Vision today, a vision of the ancient texts of the land of Atlas-Alamesios or Atlantis. My life must have had one significance with it. it would explain my interest in the sea, and with Atlantis. Was this just a flight of fancy or a true calling I feel the second would suffice but I must have the advice of more advanced Pagans in this matter.

Em Hotep (in peace),
The only advice I can offer is "if it feels good it must be right!" I believe ray buckland first said this or scott cunningham...but anyway If you have a deep interest in something than go with it :) if you want to know more ask the gods *wink*.

Explain more of your vision. We all can have a day dream here and there but, to call it a vision is completely another issue. Please tell me more in the detail.

MistOfTheSea I've never had a vision before but i have had many dreams while sleeping that seemed so real, i have also had daydreams while awake and they conveyed some type of message to me that i had to really look at in order to find the true meaning; these things can be tricky so we must take time and search deep within ourselves for truth and waht is being told or revealed to us. My Vision started out as first in meditation and i asked the question of life and death, and I was showed a scriptures. All the words I saw was "The Conteanience of Men" I looked up in a dictionary and it wasn't a word, but I saw it, and the words Atlas-amelios, in the beggining. It must have some meaning. Besides just me going crazy.

Besides just me going crazy. The contenance of man...to me this means mans "makeup", his physical abilities and outcome in the reality of being physical beings. Life and death is something we all go through, we are born...we live...and we die. No one goes around this, and death is but a transition to another reality, a reality of spiritual becoming... it is good to meditate on some things but be careful with the question of life and death, accept life while here, enjoy it to the fullest of your abilities as long as you don't hurt anyone and accept death when it's time comes...don't rush death because the physical will never be experienced again in this present body and you won't remember anything. very few do. I'm not familiar with the terms Atlas-Amelios...in the beginning.
Em Hotep my friend and keep seeking it is the only answer to our questions.

Atlas-alamesios was the correct term, it did not mean In the beginning, it meant I saw the words Atlas Alamesios in the beginning of the vision, it wasn't the question of life and death, more of the answer what will come after life in death, i cannot help my curiosity in the matter. it is something that i have to think about.

"What will come after life in death" that is a good question...i have never considered the afterlife, too much to do here and now. But maybe i should sit down and ponder this question in meditation just to see what comes forth....even though i am nowhere ready to go
anywhere...thanks for this track i'll keep you posted!

I am not dieing if that was the implication I was giving off, but all the negative energy of being a empathatic teenager, i have to deal with others emotions on suicide and the more i know the better, so I will never even consider the cowardly option.

You don't know how good it is to hear you say that! The subject is so touchy these days...and i can relate to being an empathic being, i love the feeling of dealing with others emotions as long as they are not trying to hide from them and you my friend...are truly brave! I admire you for that. There is a lot of negative energy out there especially where we have to feel that we must "fit in" with our peers and then they crucify us for being ourselves...this is sad. I have always been a loner, but i have always worked with people sort of like
public relations...security guard in a bank, transit bus driver, janitorial, all having to do with connecting with people but in my spare time i like the solitude, being alone or with someone close to my spiritual awareness.
For someone young, you are doing great by asking questions, keep doing so; we are here to help in anyway we can. Em Hotep my friend... oh yes! don't worry about what others say, they will talk about us anyway.

Hoka-hey Heya, Little Brother.
Glad you won't consider the chicken-shit way out. Not worth it. Be tough and talk with us. You may not believe this, I know my Niece doesn't, but we were all teenagers too. Kind of silly, I know, and I have heard it before from my uncles and what-not. There's no harm in talking.
Talk with me a while if you will.

MistOfTheSea86 Hey, now you have to admit that with all happenings in the schools and teens having to deal with peer pressure we are right in being concerned...right? The scary part is that it may happen to one of us...a pagan! I was releived to hear you say that you like waking up in the morning, so do i...very much! Our lives do have meaning, we are here to connect with each other and help and sometimes we don't know that we are doing it..that's the beauty!!!
When someone says thank you for something so simple,
it could be anything, no matter how small it can help.
I noticed your location is in Tucson, Az. I love that state!
Have you ever been to the Grand Canyon? How about
Mesa Verde in lower colorado? Beautiful spiritual places of great power they are, i love it out there. I was suppose to start vacation on the 21st of April but had to cancel because i need surgery on my knee (minor) but my ticket is good for a year, from march 01 to marc 02, so you can be sure i will be out that way at least within a year! I must also say that you are very observent to have noticed our concerns, that is a power/gift few of us have or use...good for you, use it wisely and walk in light my friend.

The Grand Cnyon is pretty terrific. Have you ever been North of that? A place alled Sadona? That's considered to be the spiritual vortex of the universe. I don't know if it really is but, it is rather beautiful. If you get back up that way, you might want to check it out.

Let me know when you plan to go. Perhaps I could meet you there. It's about a seven hour drive but I could make that.
