Through the years it seems that some of the communication as to why we do things certain ways and why we use certain items has been lost. If you are interested in learning about spiritual cleansing for your home, office, family, and pets.

This class will be a nature filled first aid with recipes, rituals, incantations, baths, floor washes and practical ideas to rid your home, office, or self of negative energy. Spiritual Cleansing is a guide for anyone who wants to keep their lives and environments spiritually clean and protected.

There will be no hassle as to when assignments are due. This class will be a work at your own pace setting with discussion threads.

Will it involve a lot of things with smoke (like smudging) or fragrances (candles, incense)? Because, I can't do those (severe allergies and such). Just wondering :)

No, and when we get to something like that you have the option to just read that section and not perform any exercise. The assignments will be set up per sections but You have a choice of which ones you wish to participate in as long as you participate in some of them it should be okay.

This is going to be a no hassle go at the pace you are comfortable with type of class. There will be assignments for most of the sections but You get to choose the ones that you want to participate in and also choose your own time line for completion of said assignments.

Get a large red onion and boil it for 30 min. Take the onion out of that water . Take the water and add a little sugar to it for taste. Drink the water while it is still warm but not scalding hot. It will help relax and sooth your vocal chords. I know a good many singers who use this remedy and swear by it. It is an old country folk remedy, I have used it and can say it worked for me as well.

I do the same thing with onons but I make it into a herbal honey instead, and use 2 tablespoon of the honey to a cup of warm water. Love it!

The Spiritual Cleansing class is well underway and actually might be completed. The threads are located at http://mysticwicks.com/forumdisplay.php?f=372. You are welcome to read thru the threads but would need to contact the teacher to see if she plans on re-offering the course at a later date etcetera.

As far as signing up, you just need to indicate to the teacher you are interested when they post in this subforum. Once their class is open they usually have a sign up thread in their course's forum. Which is located in the CoT Circle of teaching sub forum. Right now, most of the classes are underway and some may be complete. If one has already begun and unless the teacher states otherwise in their forum, a prospective student can always pm them and ask if they will accept students into the course late.

This time of year things tend to slow down but, I would keep an eye out in these forums to see if there are new class offerings. I also post a notice under MW Announcements when a new class is going to open.

In the interim, I would suggest exploring the site. There is a sub forum for new pagans, and one for dreams an divinations, another for paths etcetera and so on. If you have questions there is always someone willing to discuss with you.

Also, if you are new to paganism there is a mentoring program and you can post in that. It is stickied under the New Pagan subforum if I recall correctly.

Specific site questions can be taken to the Site Room which is located towards the botton of the main forum menu.

The Next round for this class will probably start in Feb. the 3rd week most likely. That will give me some time to fine tune the lessons and make any changes for the second round that are needed.

I'd love to be in a formal class setting where I can meet other people with the same interests.
