MM all, I've been sick for the past two weeks now, running a fever, up to 101.3 as my highest. My mum still isn't wanting to take me to the doctors, and my fiance wants to take me if he had insurance and if he had more money in the bank. My mum thinks that I should just come home (my family lives 30 min away from me, out in the "boonies" ) and she can diagnose my symptoms.

I think I need a real docotor on this one.

Just a little energy to go to work tomorrow would be nice. Mum says if I call in, then I'm coming home. My mum and I don't get along well at all. She is a control freak. I love her to death, and would do anything for her..but..gawds.

Just a little energy for tomorrow, so that I'm able to go to work to aviod this..and maybe actually get to a doctor :p

UPDATE:
Went to the doc today....
They ruled out pregnacy, kindy/pelivc/bladder infections, and cervial/ovarian cancer (i had lots of tests done today)
Blood was taken to see if I have high white blood cels and to look for other things.
I'm still not feeling good, but I was happy to get to a doctor :)

I went to talk to you on MSN but your not there honey. You need to see a Dr. for the simple fact this has been going on for way to long. At the same time if you are still planning on moving home when your sweety goes back to school you need to kinda keep the peace.

Is your mother a nurse? How can she diagnose you?? Hon you need a Dr. if you have insurance through yoor parents then you really really need to put your foot down and go.....

Some people want WAY too much control of our lives.
If your fever has stayed in one place for that long, you DO need to see a Dr. Your body can only fight off infections for so long, then things go haywire. Also, it is mentally and physically draining. This could be something serious. PLEASE go to a Dr.
Deal with the control issues later when you are better and stronger and can put up your shields and go for it.

LOL, i've tottaly lost my voice though. All i can do is whisper, and I have work today! Talking is like, 100% of the job!

Ask the doctor to check you for mononucliosis. (I think that's how it is spelled)... you run temps, feel sick and have sore throats etc with it. Common for young adults to get.

How about a pot of throat coat tea and a cauldron of chicken soup, made and served with lit healing candles and peaceful healing music? Something soothing for you, but backgroundish. I would have already done that. With the organic fresh herbs from my garden. Only the best for you. And a nice blanket and your favorite soft teddy. You need to be loved and Mommied, so let that happen. Even if it is a good friend that is doing the mothering.

An update since sicky is absent-minded...

She's "fine" as far as the blood tests go. :) Dont' know what was wrong, but she's feeling a lot better, and is going in for a check-up today. ^_^
