Someone at Woolite had a bright, or dark, idea! It's a Woolite that keeps your dark clothing from fading in the wash!
Nothing's sadder than midnight jeans faded to grey....:(
It's called Woolite Dark I think. Very cool idea!

I was told by a friend's mom that you can add a dash of vinegar to darks to keep them from fading. Not sure how or if this actually works. I may try it with a small load of my not-so-favorites. Has anyone else heard this before?
Nothing's sadder than midnight jeans faded to grey.... I hear ya'! Especially when you want to wear them with a black shirt. ::lowers and shakes head:: Embarrassing...

Vinegar! The wonder liquid!
I haven't tried it but I'm not surprised. Doesn't seem to be anything vinegar can't do....

ooohhh! Another Iron Chef fan?? We love that show!
Vinegar does work to some degree. It sets the dye in the fabric but it will fade with repeated washings. Just not as much or quickly.
