If you could spare a moment guys.....:(

He had a mild sinus infection before coming to see me, and the pollen count here in Colo. has aggrivated it.
For the past couple of days he's been feeling pretty miserable, and we're afraid it might progress into brochitis.

He's only here for a couple more days ('til Wednesday) and I'd just as soon he not have to fly home with a bronchial infection. :(

If you could send us some energy and help him feel a little better it would be much appreciated. (And he's calling to find a doctor we can go see today)

Thanks!

Healing light and energy on it's way, Wanderer. Lighting a special blue candle just for you, Phoenix.
Sorry the pollen count has been so bad... Has there been alot of wind like here in Phoenix, Arizona?
Bright Blessings, you two.

*nods* Lots and lots of wind....and almost no moisture.
Up until about Friday, that was *no* moisture at all, but luckily we got some rain (just a little) that day.

It takes a lot to knock out this bird, but this past weekend just about did it. Thanks to NyQuil, Robitussin, and you guys, I'm starting to feel on the up-and-up again.

since he is heading to the doctor doesnt need this advice. but,
since I can never shut up. Since I have chronic lung problems, I
also have to worry about sinus infections moving down into lungs,
and I have found that if I catch it early and take 12 hour Sudafed
it helps to keep it from moving down into lungs. does ok or so/so
for sinus's. I just use it to keep it out of lungs, but it has to be
early in the infection.

good luck. sorry to hear that he wasnt feeling well while there:(

well wishes and prayers coming your way, for both of you!

Of course! The energy is yours.

On the mundane side, this is gross but it works. . . fill an empty nasal spray bottle with warm salt water. Snort the nasty stuff right into your sinuses - yes, you'll sneeze it back out. . . Do this two or three times in each nostril every six to eight hours and by the next day your infection will be gone. I have hideous allergies and asthma, and it usually works for me when nothing else does.

*nods* True....I've got some stuff called Alkolol that you can do that with too. *makes face and laughs* The only trick is, when you have a sinus infection (which is when you're supposed to use it) the stuff burns like crazy.

Don't know why I didn't think of it......:D.....would probably have to chain PB down to get him to use it though!

Feel better, Blue boy! Sinus infections are NASTY to deal with on a plane!

My personal favorit cure -- other than prevention -- is that Aleve cold & sinus stuff. By jingy, it works! Even on those of us who suffer from chronic "New England Nose", as my ENT calls it!

**is glad she doesn't have the N.E. Nose affliction**

Question.... Why is it a bad thing to be on a plane with a sinus infection?

**has never been on a plane and has no clue**

The differences in atmospheric pressure make the stuff expand until you feel like your eardrums are going to explode. Very painful! :woah:

Hence, I am always very sympathetic with all the babies that start screaming at around 8,000 ft. That always seems to be the worst level, for some reason. poor little ones can't figure out why they hurt so much.

because the recycled air in the plane is shooting lots of evil germs around to and from other ppl
