I didn't know if this should be part of tarotbear's thread so I started a new one. :)

Tarotbear's thread on "Would you buy a Gay Tarot book?" started me wondering if sexual orientation can affect your readings? Whether it be the reader or the querant. I'm still new at tarot & it's all I can do to do just a basic reading. But I'm curious what others think of this.

For me, it doesn't seem to make much of a difference when reading. I just tell them what I *see* in the cards, and they can take those "keys phrases" and the insight I give them and expound on them as they wish. ;)

I'm bisexual but I haven't noticed it affecting my readings but I do have problems interpreting gender in general. Maybe I just need a more "balanced" deck or maybe more practice?

I feel the same as Dagda.

I did a reading for a bisexual person a while back and felt that it was way off...I think that if I did it again, the cards would make much more sense. ;) (Or even if I looked back on the cards that I drew for them...)

I think that it might affect me....but because I'm still pretty new at it, that might be the cause. ;)

Im with Dagda too. I just read what I see and hear with the cards.

They readings I have done for people when I didnt know if they were bi or gay, cards came up and I did ask if they were, so I read them right, maybe got a little confused first of all, but by asking and clearing up your hunches you can leanr allot and leanr to trust your inner voice and guides allot more too.

I think it can affect a reading just like evrtyhign else can ;)
Just maybe reveal allot more too!
