I humbly offer myself to the Goddess in the wake of those who have passed.
Blessed be, their hearts.
I have lit candles in the wake and have gatherd my wits that they may walk stong amongst the elders.
My Candles burn bright.
I pray thee my Goddess, turn yourself to those who suffer.
Blessings all.

You post is beautiful. I sit here pondering the end of another truly difficult day missing a gentle sprite that was taken from us way before her time. While the kids were very excited about chocolate day, I can't help but to remember that one of them was missing. I lit a candle for her myself tonight in silent prayer.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for a touching post that shows me that even though I may feel alone sometimes, I am truly not alone at all.

No Reanna, you are not alone. There is always a piece of my heart to hand out. The Goddess has meant so. I feel that to be my lesson in this life.
So it is and my fire burns bright for the missing one - may they walk boldly and with childlike abandonment with the Goddess.
So it is and Blessed Be.

As long as you are with us you are not alone. I do have a candle burning, it burns 24 hours a day and seven days a week for all of the spirits to see.
It burns during the day for a reminder of who I am and what I am, as well as all of those who have gone before me and those who will return again.
It burns at night to guide me in my travels and bring me back safely, like a beacon in the night. It also burns so the spirits never know darkness and always have a light to guide them as well.
My candle burns for the spirits of those who have lost people they love. It burns for the Mothers, Fathers, Brothers, Sisters, and the Family and Friends of those who have left us. It burns for All My Relations, because we are all connected to the Earth and every living being on it.
When I meditate I focus on the flame of this candle and it takes me away and helps me return.
By the light of this candle I see all that is placed before me by the Universe to see and observe.
This is not as much a ritual thing as a thing of wholeness, I have used it for so many years that to not use it feels unnatural. Buying the house candle is just part of my routine because not having it feels incomplete.
So Be It

I do Remembrance rituals 4 times a year, to remember
those who have gone before us. :)

Your post moved me greatly RnR. I too have been remembering - April is a poignant time for me, I had a baby son who died in April. It was oh so long ago, but remains fresh in my heart at this time of year. The hurt has dulled to a small ache, but his death has left me with the legacy of compassion for others. I share their hurt, as only one who has suffered can. My candle burns bright at this time, in honour to the Goddess, in remembrance for all the little ones whose lives were so fleetingly short, and for those who loved and lost them.
Your a lovely man Rnr.

BIG ((((((((((HUGS)))))))))) to you all.
Think if I open my arms real wide I will be able to hug all of you on the porch? That is what I would love to do right now.
I need a refill on the lemonade, i think. :)
