Five years

It has been 5 years today that Baby Jake has been with you. He would have been a 5 year old, playing, getting ready for kdg, learning to ride a bike. Blessed Mother, please give him a hug and kiss and let him know that I will never forget my Godson.

And please, comfort Jenn and Jeff this day. Let them share their sadness, yet also be joyful for the lives they have created since then.

So mote it be.

And another year passes. And for each of us, especially Jenn, it is harder than the last few.

Again, Mother, I ask you to let Jake know he is still loved here on Earth. And be with Jenn and Jeff as they mark this day. Help her to be strong, remember and grieve as she should, but to remember that they too are loved and have comfort and support in me.
