My wife asked me to put this forum in here and I wanted to know if all of you would like to see a family resource section of the site. We could compile some childrens stories...family rituals, etc.
Let me know.

i think that would be GREAT!! i would definitely read it!! i suppose i'm lucky because i dont come from a strict christian family or something. my parents are athiests and my oldests sister is too. but my older sister (not my oldest, she is on the middle and i'm the youngest) is already a pagan so when i told my mum i was thinking about becoming a pagan (because i tell my mum EVERYTHING) she told me she wanted to find out more and she would not pressure me into any religion and what i wanted was all that mattered. so i'm lucky i suppose.

Wow Rosabelle you are very lucky. That is exactly the way I want to raise my son. I don't want to force any religion onto him. I will share the pagan things in life with him. He is only 4 but he participates in our rituals. He just loved tearing apart the cake at yule and lighting candles. But I also want him to experience other religions as well because I just don't think that what works for one will work for all. I do feel it is important to have some form of organised (loosely) spirituality and a ntwork of likeminded friends.I don't think there will be a problem introducing him to Christianity...throw a rock. Not that thats bad.....most of my family is Christian. Some of the other religions may be more difficult. But as he gets older and his friends have different religions he can learn with them. I learned a lot about catholocism from my best friend growing up.
anyway I am rambling again....but I am interested in hearing others biews on how to incorporate paganism into thier children's lives when there is so little in the community geared towards the little ones.

It's a darn good thing work is so slow that I can respond to all this great talk! I think the one thing that seperates pagans from non-pagens is that we don't belive our way is the only way. Christians, as with other religions have their own purpose...my own code of conduct is to never try to set someone on a differnt path..if they are placed before me and ask questions of me..I will offer information. Most times it is because they see my pentagram necklace and are curious, but, some take it even farther than that because they have had an experience that has awakened something in them..which reminds me..I need to start a new thread about that very thing
