Here's some ones I've come across about non-theistic paths:

From the BBC - Religion & Ethics - Religions (http://rds.yahoo.com/_ylt=A0oGklNBPFlGGsIAizZXNyoA;_ylu=X3oDMTE2aHRmMzdmBHNlYwNzcgRwb3MDMQRjb2xvA3cEdnRpZANGNzU1XzczBGwDV 1Mx/SIG=11ribkf9u/EXP=1180339649/**http%3a//www.bbc.co.uk/religion/religions) page:
Atheism (http://www.bbc.co.uk/religion/religions/atheism/) has some info, under "types" lists there's some summaries (click links for more):
Humanism (http://www.bbc.co.uk/religion/religions/atheism/types/humanism.shtml) While atheism is merely the absence of belief, humanism is a positive attitude to the world, centred on human experience, thought, and hopes.
Secularism (http://www.bbc.co.uk/religion/religions/atheism/types/secularism.shtml) Secularists oppose religion or the religious being afforded privileges, which - put another way - is the same as disadvantaging others.
Rationalism (http://www.bbc.co.uk/religion/religions/atheism/types/rationalism.shtml) Rationalism is an approach to life based on reason and evidence and rejects authority that cannot be proved by experience
Postmodernism (http://www.bbc.co.uk/religion/religions/atheism/types/postmodernism.shtml) For postmodernists every society is in a state of constant change; there are no absolute values, only relative ones; nor are there any absolute truths.
As well as: Atheist Buddhism (http://www.bbc.co.uk/religion/religions/atheism/types/buddhistatheism.shtml), Humanistic Judaism (http://www.bbc.co.uk/religion/religions/judaism/subdivisions/humanistic.shtml), Christian Atheism (http://www.bbc.co.uk/religion/religions/atheism/types/christianatheism.shtml) & Unitarian Universalism (http://www.bbc.co.uk/religion/religions/atheism/types/unitarianuniversalism.shtml)
This is interesting too: Reasons for atheism:

Reasons (http://www.bbc.co.uk/religion/religions/atheism/beliefs/reasons_1.shtml)
Lack of evidence (http://www.bbc.co.uk/religion/religions/atheism/beliefs/reasons_2.shtml)
God is unnecessary (http://www.bbc.co.uk/religion/religions/atheism/beliefs/reasons_3.shtml)
Not convincing (http://www.bbc.co.uk/religion/religions/atheism/beliefs/reasons_4.shtml)
The problem of evil (http://www.bbc.co.uk/religion/religions/atheism/beliefs/reasons_5.shtml)
Science explains (http://www.bbc.co.uk/religion/religions/atheism/beliefs/reasons_6.shtml)
God is meaningless (http://www.bbc.co.uk/religion/religions/atheism/beliefs/reasons_7.shtml)
God is in the mind (http://www.bbc.co.uk/religion/religions/atheism/beliefs/reasons_8.shtml)
God is a social function (http://www.bbc.co.uk/religion/religions/atheism/beliefs/reasons_9.shtml)

"American Atheists" all the news on the Atheist front in the US! http://atheists.org/

The site is very searchable for most topics of interest to Atheists.

I haven't read on this board but I think they may be sort of radical. You might enjoy a look, though. The guy who started it is a smart cookie.

Oh here's a good one, the religious (and non-religious) demographics of the US: State-by-state breakdown of religious backgrounds (http://www.usatoday.com/graphics/news/gra/gnoreligion/flash.htm) (shows them in a nice bar graph)

Nice to know my state is the least religious of them all! :deviltail

Also:
People with no religion now account for 14% of the nation, up from 8% when The Graduate Center of the City University of New York, authors of the ARIS, conducted its first survey of religion in 1990. Today the range stretches from 3% with no religion in North Dakota to 25% in Washington state.
Snippet from: Charting the unchurched in America (http://www.usatoday.com/life/2002/2002-03-07-no-religion.htm)

This is about a book in which there is a lawsuit against the Cathilic church for promoting the belief in Jesus whose existance is disputed.

It is really too big for me to look at it all, now but the links look VERY interesting.
