Do you keep a list of Spreads?? Where??

I write mine on index cards (small spreads). The larger spreads, including a printed copy of Tarot FAQ 4.0 in a three ring binder. :D

I have a binder where I keep printouts of lots of Pagan stuff I like, including tarot spreads (like the ones that are posted here!) :)

Spreads live in my head, and readings make their home in the journal by my bed. :)

Oh, I'm the most unorganized little Witch I know :D I keep them mostly in a journal and there are a couple in my BOS and there are some on my puter and I also have a teeny little booklet I made that I keep with my cards (I'm still learning. I think I'll always feel like I'm learning!). I also keep a separate journal for my readings.

But I loooooove the index card idea. After finals, I am going to get some organization.

Other....8O Half of them are in a binder, where as the other half are saved on disc, waiting to be printed out... :eyebrow:

hehe I keep 'em in my head. . . but that's mostly because other than one "generic" spread that's in my tarot deck's booklet, I mostly just put the cards down in a pattern that feels right. . . I dono how to explain it. . . but generally that works best for me. Sometimes it's just a straight line, sometimes it's elaborate patterns. But they come when they're needed :)

I have over 130 spreads and no means of storing them other than on my computer, I am taking a course in memory workout so maybe I will be able to memorize them (big lol)

LOL I'm with you on that one Mithrea!!:D I keep mine all over the place too! I can't seem to get things all together in one place, but at least when I need them I know where they are...amazingly enough!!:p

I can't believe i never thought about storing my readings!! :scream: i've always given them to friends and done them on myself as well, but i never wrote them down. :bug: i guess i didn't think i needed to. :eek: But now that you mention it, i really should to that, from now on. I will probably get a journal to keep them in. Thanks! :smooch:

I don't really keep a list of spreads. Not quite experienced enough to branch too far out yet. But I do try to keep track of my readings. It was interesting looking back on some of them. :D It seems I'm better reading in retrospect. Interesting to go back & compare what was going on in my life at that time & what the cards said. I look back & say: Ah! That's what it was referring to!

That's the best part of Journaling! ....going back and seeing what it was the cards meant for you to see! It gives you alot of insight to the cards themselves and card combinations! :D

For the longest time, I haven't done my journaling like I should, but I'm starting to keep track of personal readings again....just to brush up my skills. ;)

I save them all on my bos on my computer and print them out when I get round to it ;) Ive already filled an A4 file with pages of spreads from here! & try and memories a few, but have to go back to refresh if Im being 'serious' about a spread..

Journalling is such fun and I think its a great learning tool too, just forget allot of the time, I go through spurts of writting all ym persoanl readings down.. then leaving it for a month or so.. but Im always trying to keep on top of them!
I even need to get a new tarot notebook so thanks for reminding me :sunny:

I have mine on the computor, and in a special notebook only for tarot, and some in my BoS :) Since I am rather lazy at times I haven't taken the time to write down those I got in books I've bought so those I only have in the books...

I keep my spreads in a 3-ring binder that serves as one of my BOS. I have 2 binders and a book of shadows.. not to mention a disk..

Since I'm new, I'm most definately going to look about for spreads and copy them down in my divination book. It's a HUGE book that I bought at Borders to keep readings for myself and others down in. :)

I might have to try the index card thing.. buy the ones on the spiral binding..
