I always forget to look for these intro thread forum things... xD
It seems the custom here is a standard introductory description, so here goes.
I'm a 22 year old female, currently in New York State but moving down South soon! I am in a relationship with an absolutely wonderful young man, and sort of pursuing a degree in History. I'm actually not pagan (I suppose the best description would be an almost-Christian), but I practice magic and energy manipulation. I found this place while doing some research yesterday on... something. I've read so much that I've forgotten what I was looking for! 8O
I've spent hours over the past day and a half reading through dozens of threads in these forums, and I have to say that this is the best resource and community for Pagan and magical beliefs and practices I have ever found. It's incredibly refreshing to find an online community for these things filled with so many intelligent and rational people who have the ability to not only express their ideas clearly, but to be friendly, helpful, tolerant, and informative.
Perhaps at some point I'll have information, advice, and views of my own to contribute to the discussions. Until then, I'm just glad that a place such as this exists. Thank you all!
