Hello everybody, I have been registered for a while now but it's been ages since my last confession... :D O sorry, wrong place.

The thing I'd like to ask is:
I recently moved to a new house, after a divorce. It's a great place and I am very happy with it, but the one thing that is bothering me in the energy in the bedroom.
I don't sleep very well, I have unwanted "visitors" during the night, overall it's costing me a lot of energy. And more often than not I wake up feeling exhausted and depressed. I tried a couple of things: candles, incense, water, but it only works for a moment. I realize that my personal energylevel has something to do with it, moving through major changes etc.
But I could do with some suggestions! :)

Moves are always hard...and I have made **she shudders**over 50. One of the things that has helped clear bad energy and to make a kinda peace with the new is to clean the room really well, with a bit of ritual for cleansing in the water with a few protective herb oils, Rose, and lavender are nice. A simple phrase spell with each wipe, and I sweep with a new broom for each new home.

I raise a wall of energy, that surrounds just my space, invite anything not to my likeing to leave, open the windows for the exit using the ritual of my choice. I then affix the energy with a protection spell, and to make the entire place more "mine" I place herbs of protection over every door, small grape vine wreaths with the herbs woven in are really nice. But when I travel a white wool or silk bag of herbs pinned above the door is good too. I also seal the windows with a pentagram using clear nail polish...a trick I picked up in Minneapolis. I also try to make it a rule to sleep or meditate in that room, no electonics, nor a home office. A haven as it were...

Also change the position of your bed...it is facing the wrong way, check with your inner "sight", turn until you feel the "pull" and that is the best direction for you...I have had beds in the middle of rooms, but sleep really well.

I hope this is what you were wishing for, Blessed Be.

...smudge the house really well (don't forget closets, cabinets & cupboards) with sage or sweetgrass or cedar or sandalwood etc... & check out Practical Rune Magic I in the 'stuck' thread at the top of this forum...

Thanks for the suggestions, will do tonight. Turning the bed sounds like a bit of an ordeal to me but not getting any proper sleep is getting very annoying too.
