I'm not much of a ritualistic person, more or less because I stick to my green witch ways, but as I'm getting ready to move back in with the folks, I want to bless my room and clean out all the nasties. I'd really like to do a simple ritual, nothing flashy. I don't wanna be so obvious that my mom gets miffed, (my parents accept what I believe n such, but my mom is pyscho sometimes) so, I'm a tiny setback. Any advice would be great! Wiccan, Christian Witch, or whatever!

Blessings

Back when I was starting out I called upon angels a lot. It may be useful to just burn incense and ask for the Archangel Michael to remove all harmful energy. You could make a chant out of it.

Another idea is having holy water sprinkled in your room, if your Catholic or Eastern Orthodox this would be not looked oddly at. The idea about St Michael is a good one too. Something as simple as burning a white candle dressed in a cleansing oil would also work.

also depending on your beliefs you could evoke certain saints, this of course doesn't apply if you don't believe saints to be holy and whatnot.

Some stores sell Saint Candles that you burn for a certain amount of time--they usually last a couple of days or so that have a prayer on it, which you could turn into a ritual noveana that you say the prayer while you sprinkle holy water or maybe salt around the corners of the room. If you aren't big into saints I've seen Holy Spirit candles and calling on the Holy Spirit could be a good idea. Perhaps if you could put some stones associated with peace and dispelling negativity might be a good thing.

Hope this helps.
