Grant my family the strength and energy to make it out of this debt hole we're in! I'm so low on energy and so is my husband (who is now going to have to get a second job ) while I stay home and look after our baby who even though I / we love saps our energy. Sleep is non exisitant in this house! We have no money for food for ourselves (but making sure baby and the animals eat), barely able to make rent and pay bills while others (creditors) call and call and we dont know what to tell them. We might even have to move to down size and that's the last thing we both want but what else are we gonna do?! My husband losing his job a day after we brought the baby home from the hospital and him being off work for 2 weeks after really really hurt us!! I'm unable to work because I'm still recovering from my C section and the baby's too young be left with someone else... We just cant seem to catch a break. Rain energy down on my family so that we're able to pull through and pull ourselves up.

Hmmm, I know what it's like to be chased by the evil debt monster. I'm going through the same thing right now and it does seem like you can't catch a break when you need it.

Sending you warm and fuzzy energy:smile:

Lots of positive, strengthening and prosperous energies flowing your way.

Is there a debt counselling service you can access in your neighbourhood? Over here in the UK our Citizens Advice Bureau is very good and will help draw up a realistic budget and negotiate with creditors to reduce your payments - I had to do this in the past and it really helped to have someone from outside the situation to look at what was happening and help me through it. I don't think it is healthy for you and your husband to not be eating properly - you need all the strength you have to deal with what is happening in your lives right now, especially with such a young baby. One word of caution, please don't be sucked in by the "consolidate all your debts" loan companies - it is an option best avoided!

I do wish you the very best of luck in sorting this out.

Yes and we've signed up. But seeing that money's so tight right now we're finding it difficult to even pay them the monthly payment. They're one of the ones calling. I dont know what else to do...

Have you thought about bankruptcy? There is no stigma to this course of action and it might be worth considering.

I found this link which might be of interest:

I wish I could do more.

No, I havent. I guess that's something that my husband and should discuss. He's talking about taking a second job. I'm going to try and go back to work early but I wont be making any significant amount of money.. Maybe just grocery money which is good. My mom can look after Luke while I'm at work if she's available. I cant believe just how hard this is. I feel so helpless.

Sending you positive energy. Worrying about money, or lack of, is one of the worse feelings. I have been there too. Someone mentioned bankrupcy or seeking advice, this is probably a good idea.
