The other day I was driving my car with the girls and a black cat crossed my path. It didnt only cross my path but made me slow down so it could do so all the while staring right at me.
When it had finally passed it sat down on the road where I had just been and stared after me.
The cat was really quite a nice looking cat so it wasnt a freaky scary cat or anything.
Im looking more into paganism and which path I will take, so I wonder if it had anything to do with that.
Talk about freaky!!!
I actually dont feel bad about it, so it cant be a bad omen, just weird.

Black cats are actually good luck in some cultures.
Cats stand for magic, and spirtualism...
so maybe it was just a hint that you're walking down the right path?
Cat is my childhood totem... she's very sweet.

Perhaps it is a cat god/dess trying to reach through to you? The first that comes to mind is, of course, Bastet. Freyja is also associated with cats.

I dunno - My sister's black cat is a real selfish snobby b**ch! Maybe she was just standing her ground because she thought she owned the road?
Well anyways ... I couldn't tell you what kind of omen it was. What matters is if that experience spoke to you.

I never really thought of black cats as a bad omen, I have one myself and she's certainly not a bad omen. :dancy:

Im not the biggest cat fan as I hate what happens to the native fauna when they are around, however, I have owned black cats before and actually prefer them.
I suppose it wasnt so much the black of the cat, but the experience itself. That cat was definatly telling me something. It was trying to get something accorss but I have no idea what.

Maybe it's something that you were thinking about earlier that day?
Maybe you'll come across a clue that can nudge you in the right direction.

The secret with omens is to look for confirmation. Look for something else to back it up - it may have just been a cat out for a stroll.
