I got a call early today telling me my sister had gone into labor at 4am their time (7am ours). Unfortunately since I’m in Michigan and they’re in California I have not been able to be there physically and only in spirit. It is now 13 hours later and she’s still having a rough time of it.
Any positive energy that can flow to Janet (my sister) and Hailey (baby) I’d be truly grateful for.
Thank you.

very much so.
Especially since she’s my younger sister and I can’t make the pain “go away” like I’ve been able to in the past.

I am an empath, when my DIL had babies, it wasn't real bad, not as bad as I expected ,( we were close) now when my daughter had her baby, OMG, it was awful. I knew something had gone wrong. Her MIL is not a nice person, so to avoid problems, my daughter had to request only her and hubby in the room, she wanted real bad for me to be with her. When I began getting the vibes of fear from her, I was like a caged cat. I was walking with one of my grandbabies up and down the hall to try to calm down, tears were just running down my face. My son was trying to calm me down saying if anything had happened, we would know, I told him I DO KNOW, there IS something wrong, I can feel it, something is wrong with Tonya! It turned out to be nothing, just a bad scare, something to do with they thought the lining tore and she had to be all scraped out or could bleed to death- yeah, nothing too bad, it was not tore and everything was fine, but she was put through a real bad scare as well as alot of pain. Ya can't tell empath mom that nothing is wrong!
It'll be over with soon, and another day will come and go. I don't mean that to sound cold hearted, I mean it as time helps things become more distant.

9:25 update.
She's 9cm.
She had the epidural.
She hasn't slept in over 36 hours.
Has only eaten ice all day. (why do they do that?)
Tired, in pain, and can't talk.
They're saying she'll be here by midnight (PST) it's only 6:30 over there.
I'm an emotional wreck.
I wish I could be there.
Hold her hand or something.

Honey Her and the baby are in my prayers. They told me I wasnt allowed to eat incase something happend they wouldnt have to dig it out of my throat if I threw up. First babies can often times big long and difficult. Keep us updated on both of them?

Got the call at 3:45 am. EST
Hailey decided that it was time to make her appearance.
8 pounds 9 ounces
19 inches long
a head full of black wavy hair.
Looks like dad from what my mom says
She's in observation since a bit of fluid got into her lungs and she was doing a bit of gasping, but everything seems to be ok.
Janet's doing fine. She said -and I quote- "don't have children, it's horrible!"
No pictures yet since no one's got a camera phone over there. I have to wait until Friday when some can be emailed to me.
Thank you all for all the thoughts, prayers, and energy.
