Ever get a real bad feeling that something is about to happen, that a storm was brewing? I have had one all day, can't shake the feeling. As the day goes on the feeling gets worse. I can't sit still, the hair is up on the back of my neck, can't concentrate on a thing, a loud noise just about pops me out of my skin (loud noises don't usually bother me). Don't know what's up here, but thought maybe if I talk about it, it would take my mind off it.
Maybe (hopefully) it's just because I had a dealing with my soon to be ex at lunch.
Hopefully I'm just overreacting.

I think you should just be careful - feelings are very important to listen to.
But it seems like the lunch meeting could've had alot to do with it!

I to, have had those, get them all the time!!!
ULA is right, your feelings are very important, listen to them. Does not necessarily mean it is bad though. You may have bad feeling just because meeting with ex tainted your thoughts.
Be weary just the same, but the last few times I had premonitions that things were going to happen, they were all extremely positive, wonderful, awesome things!! :D
Surround yourself with positive energy and thoughts, it can't do anything but help! You never know, you might even change the outcome itself.

I'm sure that the lunch had alot to do with it!!
I was that way for weeks when I left my soon to be EX
only about 3 more weeks then he will be gone and have no reason to contact me ever!
Who knows, think positive !! And just when your not looking you will meet the right person who just sweeps your heart away!!
I know what your feeling right now went thru it but thanks to Bluecat my world is SO DIFFERENT, AND MY FUTURE IS SO BRIGHT I can not imagine a day without talking to him.
Listen to your feelings but follow your heart you know your ex better than anyone Just know we are here for you if you want to talk!!

I too have had moments like that that I could not shake. Fortunately mine have always been false alarms. Hopefully yours is too!!
Talking to my ex makes me go home and do a cleansing ritual. No matter how hard I try the mere sound of his voice sends me into a rage. I couldn't image having to eat lunch at the same table with him...

I know the feeling.
Some advice I would suggest is to keep a journal specifically around these times of what you are feeling, how intense etc, and then write about what you've been doing in the last few days, and what is coming up in the next few days. List any reasons you might contribute to these feelings, but don't write it off to those situations alone. You could also look at local and national, even international news to see if there's anything there that might be bringing on the feelings.
I have a friend who has very intense feelings almost to hysteria that come on for no apparent reason just before a huge accident or horrible thing happening around her area, or sometimes nationally. She is working on fine tuning these feelings so that she knows when they are false alarms, and when she needs to act. It's interesting, but scary for her at times too.

It seems that we've all felt this at one time or another and will again.
The most I can tell you, is to trust what you feel. Feelings will, affect decisions you make, so sometimes it's best to ignore them. It really is up to you what you do.
Perhaps it really did have something to do with the soon-to-be. Maybe one of you, or both, said something that wasn't true, wasn't honest. Wasn't meant. Maybe you want to think about that.
