I did a reading on my situation...well my questions were, in a three card spread,
1. Current situation--Ffaff the Ffooter reversed....heck I am so not grounded...looking for a higher power to make my decision for me.
2.Why am I attracted to the other man and what does he bring to the relationship...Luathas the Wild....Hoo hoo, he is sooooooo like this character. I am telling you. He almost even resembles him in a characature sort of way. And I am getting that HE is telling me to go for it. My guy, that is, as of course, he would be, wouldn't he, cause he wants me. But that isn't necessarily what I SHOULD do. Not that it isn't, either.
3. Will I find happiness if I persue this relationship? Singers of Intuition, reversed. Again. Meditate and find the answer in myself.

Sigh! I will get no help in this, will I?

Anyone familiar with the Faery oracle want to add anything?

Now a similiar reading for husband.
1. current sit.- THe maiden reversed. What is written is right on. blocked energy. no dreams, hopes or plan for future outside minimal and mundane. A cold, sterile, joyless life.
2. What does he bring to relationship... need a little help here. Fee Lion reversed. I get that I have much guilt and feelings of obligation but that it isn't really my responsibility..He is the one who let it go so bad.
3. Will I find happiness if persued. The friends... reversed. Doesn't look good but still possible if I am honest. Perhaps a friendship is salvageable. That is my instinct that I get from them but my feeling could be tainting.

Any insight here?

I'm not familiar with the Faerie Oracle. I would only be able to offer some advice.

:o

It's always difficult to make the decision to cut the ties to a relationship, especially when you are married. You have to ask yourself if YOU want to try to salvage the relationship. If you do, then put the other person out of your mind and throw yourself into your relationship and working for it. I know it's a two way street....for salvaging or destroying it. (been there, done that).

If you truely feel that all hope is gone from your marriage, then take the necessary actions. Just beware because the grass isn't always greener on the other side. (I know this VERY well.) Just make sure you finish one relationship before even thinking about starting the other. ;)

I feel when decisions like this are to be made, the Tarot should probably be left out of it. This is a decision that will affect the rest of your life, and only you can make it. Consulting the tarot may give you options, but it won't tell you which path to take.

Good luck!

:o Stepping off soap box ;)

I am a big fan of the faeries oracle.

If you haven't tried it, here's a link to the online version:
http://www.faeries.net/faery/oracle/

That said, to make it work for me, I had to break all the rules, but now the message is uncanny. I don't read the reversed cards, and when I ask a question I spread the whole thing out in front of me and draw from 3-9 cards, based on the intuitive feeling I get, to comment on the situation. I also check the card that turns up on the very bottom of the deck, which is for me always a commentary.

Online, I like the single card reading. It's a bit scary, that one - the only online reading site that I've ever sen be quite so accurate.

Wowzers....I pulled the three card spread, asking them about this decision of mine and got these three: The Singer of Initiation (past), She of the Cruach (present), and Himself (future).

All talking about creativity and change....*takes a deep breath*...I suppose I oughta stop piddling around about this, eh?

hey maybe!

I asked about my pregnancy and the future card was the bright mother!!!!

It also spoke a lot about changes and growth!!

Tonight, I asked (single card readings don't ask you to type a question) about my fledgling relationship. I got "The Faery Who Was Kissed by Pixies" (Love - it's the faery oracle equivalent of the Two of Cups). I really hope it's right. . . it usually is, though :)
