I am undergoing a transition and I need some help with the emotional "cleansing" that comes along with change. I do wish to avoid feeding or teasing the Drama Llama, so I would appreciate keeping the discussion off the boards.
Training in counselling of some kind of another would be appreciated if possible, or at least knowledge of some of the following:
loss/grief/mourning
anger issues
life transitions
dysfunctional family issues
non-violent communication/peaceful conflict resolution
poverty/abundance issues
I do take a spiritual approach to healing, so the any of the following spiritual knowledge is helpful too:
tarot/runes
energy/consciousness studies
psychodrama/ritual/pathworking/spirit guides
Eastern philosophies, in particular regarding the ego and observer
journalling/fiction writing
I find it easiest to talk with males my own age or a little older (absent twin issues) but what is really important is that I can honor yet contain the drama in a safe place, keeping it off the boards, so respect for confidentiality and boundaries is also important.
I am not depressed, but I am struggling with grief and anger that can get intense at times. I need to keep moving foreward through this transition acknowledging and observing and honoring the grief but not letting it "drive the bus." I wish to honor the drama without indulging it, if that makes any sense, but this is an on-going issue and I really have to face the fact I can't handle on my own right now, so I would be very grateful for someone with the time for a nightly or afternoon chat via PM's, email, or yahoo messenger, just until the intensity breaks.
Advice would be greatly appreciated and cherished but only followed if it is actually appropriate and helpful!
