Did anyone see the Austrian Formula 1 Grand Prix today? And the way Michael Schumacher 'won'? Even his brother looked disgusted, and he was booed all the way to the podium. That was the most dreadful exhibition of non-sportsmanship I've ever, ever seen. That race belonged to Rubens Barrichello, without a doubt. I know Schumacher 'let' Rubens stand on the top step of the podium - a token gesture, team orders again, maybe? - and sit in the place reserved for the first finishing driver at the press conference. But I still think he should be disqualified, or lose the points, at least. Taking away his teammate's chance at a second victory, just so he could assure his lead in the World Championship. The Tifosi were furious: they wouldn't even catch his bottle of champagne after the race.

i haven't seen the race yet, so i can't say. but i am now geared up to be pissed!
i am NOT a fan of Michael Schumacher. i still remember how he tried to drive Jacques Villaneuve off of the last corner for the World Driver's Championship a few years back. but ol' Jacques stuffed him instead! something he learned in CART, no doubt.
however, the 'team orders' thing is notorious in F1, especially when Ferrari is involved (i LOVE the Prancing Horse of Modena, just don't like M.S).
but poor Rubens is having a tough year!
anyway, they usually show the races here on delay, so hopefully i haven't missed it yet. i am curious now.
