Suggestions, opinions and prayers

Greetings all! Thanks for all your prayers, and positive energy. I've felt the fruit of everyone's strenght, and I'm really thankful about this.

I need your opinions, prayers and thoughts. I'm having major problems with my son's principal. This man refuses to give my son a fair shake. My son doesn't help himself by doing silly things, but the man truly has it in for my child. He can be very hard to take, to deal with, but he's a great child.

This man has tried everything under the sun to get my son kicked out of the school district. My parents and I have been a united force in dealing with this man, however, he makes things difficult.

I need advice, prayers, encouragement and great positive thoughts. I'd thought about binding him.....however in a sense that seems like avoiding theproblem. I've also sent out prayers of love, trust, protection and peace for my son. I want the child to make better decisions.....I want the best for him. I pray day in and day out,that he improves, and he has somewhat.....but I want the best, and I want him to understand.

I feel one million percent better.....I'm also praying to Athena for the knowledge and strength on going into the meeting on Wednesday with a strategic plan for the best interest of my son and myself. Greatest thanks.

Okay..you asked for comments opinions and suggestions, so i've gotta give you mine.

NOT every problem we have in this world need a spell or peoples prayers/energy to resolve them.

Sometimes, it's a matter of using the Brain, Language, and Instinct that you were given, to resolve the issue.

You don't need to bind him...you need to go over his head, or threaghten to withdraw your kid from the school if the issue is not resolved, if you really feel your son is being mistreated.

Contact the PTA, talk to other parents of other kids in the school..see if you can figure out what exactly is going on, and how to handle it.

And...believe it or not..you have ALL the power, strength, and wisdom inside your OWN Self to accomplish these goals. But..you have to believe it.

I'm trying to be honest with you here, because I think it's a really important message that many people miss.

You need to believe more in your own wisdom and discernment. And you need to rely more upon your own ability to resolve issues. Believe in yourself, and your ability to get things done. With or without magick (in this situation, i'd say..without).

Trust me hon...you don't need us HALF as much as you think you do. You can accomplish amazing tasks, with the wisdom, courage, and will you have within yourself.

Sometimes we can all use a little boost. There have been a number of problems with a teacher in the school of one of our members children. Perhaps the ideas for dealing with her can be applied to the prinicpal at your son's school. They are in the family forum and by Ldystarlite.

Hey,

Thanks! I know I've got the power within me, but I love coming here for the support.

As for the binding and cursing.....I was venting......I'm not much for cursing people, I figure they end up cursing themselves anyway, and I save my energy.

Like I said, I come here for support, ideas, and positivity. It means a lot to me, to have this place. I'm sorry if I seem really negative, or down, or whatever, but I don't get to share my thoughts and feelings in my regular everyday, non internet life with many people. Either they don't understand or I spend the majority of my time answering the same questions or avoiding arguements.

I've had many miracles in my life, and many since I've become a Pagan.

For the record......I do use my thoughts, speech, and whatever else I can use to get my point across. I suppose its just like when people say, 'Girl, your stupid', or 'She's so crazy'............Generally, they're lauging and joking around.....I suppose that's the way I am, when I talk about cursing people.

I don't know about you, but I don't live or exist in a vaccuum and I appreciate, accept, and am thankful for all the prayers, thoughts and positive energy I can get.

I think you took offense to my post, when in actuality..my message was quite positive. In other words..i am absolutely sure that you can and will resolve this issue. Not saying people shouldn't add their prayers for you...Just that I'm sure you will resolve this. And you did ask for opinions, comments, and suggestions..and I gave you some :)

Danu's message is very positive, and supportive. While our prayers, energy and magick definitely affect our lives, we still have to deal with the mundane in mundane ways.

Have you had your son tested for ADHD or other behavioral or learning disabilities? In my state, the schools are legally obligated to do so when kids have problems. They don't like to, and many parents are not educated to the law. And even when they are, they have to get aggressive about it. I'm a social worker and also went through the same thing with kids on my caseload in my previous job.

It might be a good idea to call your state boards of education and mental health and find out what services are available. This principal should be offering these services to your child, not threatening to throw him out of school.

Thanks for your replies. At first I was, then I reread it, and then I reread what I wrote, and realize that I may not've gotten my true intentions across in the best manner.

Your opinions thoughts and suggestions are welcome and appreciated, if I didn't want them, I wouldn't have asked.

As far as my son.....he's on Aderoll and Zoloft and recieves counceling on a regular basis. My mother has been in early childhood education for about 35 years, so she's a great source of support and help! I'm just frustrated and at the end of my rope.....I'm ready to throw my hands up, but not with my son, but with his school. However, I won't I'm a naturual born warrior goddess, LOL!

So if I seemed snippy, or upset I do apologize!

No problem, I understand. Great that you have your mom's support. And we can supplement mundane action in magickal ways. I've done a form of binding that I've taken from Starhawk's The Spiral Dance by making a poppet. There's no place to bury anything as she recommends, so I've used the freezer! I've only done this twice, in extreme situations. I have not seen where either of these individuals were harmed, and they have stayed out of my way. In fact, they've just continued to go around hanging themselves in other situations, so I've seen the three-fold law in force.

Just remember to set them free when all is resolved or when they can no longer cause harm to you.
