By the time it really hit me, there wasn't much I could do! lol. It kind of "Snuck" up on me, and then all of a sudden, went out of control. I couldn't keep anything in me, what so ever. So "Cures" were out of the question. However, I did go to the doctor, and she prescribed suppositories which were supposed to quell the nausea (this, a few days before my d & c), and reccommended I suck on Peppermint Candies (the white ones with the red stripes), and drink all of my liquids ICE cold. Because when you take them Ice cold, it absorbs quicker into your tongue, or something like that, and doesn't settle on your tummy.

Ick- saltines make me even more nauseous. (still can't spell the d*%$ word!)
A friend of mine was really sick with her first and wore Sea Bands for most of her preganancy. They are those things to help with seasickness, pressure points ont he wrists. She said it helped so much, if it looked a bit weird.

Very carefully!! I had trouble keeping a lot of things down, i lived on saltines and gingerale, but in the beginning, even saltines were to heavy on my stomach. I found that taking my vitamin at night helped alot. I couldn't eat meat, and brushing my teeth even would make me sick. I was so sick during the first 4 months, that i ended up losing 10 pounds!! I couldn't eat solids until dinner time. Some perfumes even bothered me. and sage. My fiance decided to cleanse the house and when i came home and smelt it,right to the br i went! I was glad to see it pass :)
I'm just happy it didn't effect me having a healthy baby, she's healthy, and very active. due in a couple weeks! :)

I found protein the most helpful, jello before climbing out of bed in the morning helped tons. Avoid fatty foods and avoid drinking and eating at the same time. Popsicles are good for extra fluid intake and put jelly not butter on toast and english muffins (I never thought a simple english muffin could taste that good with strawberry jam on it!)
If you go more then 48 hours without being able to keep anything down it is time to get help!
