Strressed out in a major way

Geez I feel like screaming at the top of my lungs. I don't know why the last two weeks of high school have to be so hectic. I have these musical productions going on, tonight is dress rehearsal, the talent show is TOMORROW (yikes), and then right after all this and the Senior banquets I have to go to I finally get to graduate. It's so hard to just sit and meditate anymore.

I got soooo upset today. Has anyone ever had a day where every else around you has a problem? I know it sounds silly but everyone had an attitude of some kind today it seemed like. Hoo boy, I can't wait to graduate. I won't have to put up with anymore of these stupid high school politics.

You know, I kinda feel better now that i wrote all that...but I'm still gonna go gorge myself on chocolate, put on a mud mask, then soak in the tub....after stupid dress rehearsal!!!! :(

Hey, life can get like that AFTER high school. I have days like that at my job sometimes.

You can deal with the real life theatre stress of audition after audition, as I do.

Sounds like my own last two weeks in HS - about 12 years ago. While I wouldn't ever go back to being 17 again, those last few days in retrospect are good memories. In ten years, when you haven't seen those friends in ages, their stresses will be better memories.

Word of advice - use all that wild energy onstage. Feed it back to the audience. They'll think you're even more amazing ;)

Only 16 more days left for me! But I just finished a play so I know how ya feel (now I have come up with a Spanish story, study for a S.S. test, and do a biology packet... right after I go to a party 8O )
