I am have nto taken Reiki yet but it is definitely something that I am going to take. I have a spa therapy prject that is due in 6 weeks. This is a 7 week class and the first class was yesterday. It needs to be professional and realistic. It is a treatment that I would do, a sample, an advertisement, the goal location/market, pricing, and the items that would be on my counter.

I adore crystal therapy. I am thinking of combining crystal therapy and essential oil blends for each of the major chakras and a chakra point for each hand. My location goal would be two fold. 1 would be a spa above a pagan shop. We do have several pagan shops in this area that have massage areas upstairs. I am in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. The second location would be various festivals with merchants.

I would have my client lay on the table. I would do the penulum technique to test the level that each of the major chakras is open to. The client would have the option of being dressed or undressed. I would do the major chakras with stones and energy intent but I would use the essential oil blend on the hands and exposed chakras. I am thinking more of a balm than a liquid. I am strongly considering purchasing chapstick containers. I would have my working container that I would use those little spatulas to scrape out and this way it would be a very controlled amount that would be on the client. The scent would be mild so that they were not fighting each other when it comes to scent. If the client preferred to undress I would have a blend for each chakra and each one could be annointed.

The ones that need work would be worked on with energy work. I work from the bottom up because I feel like if your root chakra (obviously I would nto annoint your skin there but I could add it to the stone itself) is not functioning well that the energy will never move up properly.

For sale I would have the different blends in the balm in the chapstick container (assuming I can find them or another option if I can not find them), the stones for the chakra points, and I am thinking of doing chakra bracelets.

Does this sound feasible to people? Is this a therapy that you would enjoy or want done? Right now it is for a school project but I would LOVE to work it into an actual practice once I am a certified massage therapist.

I would appreciate any and all opionions wether they are positive or negative. If you are interested in this idea what do you think you would pay for it? No I am not selling now but pricing is part of the project. This project is the major portion of my grade.

Thank You

It's a good idea, try it out abit so that you can refine it.

Also something to keep in mind. " Pagan" can limit your market.

I have heard of doing this before. I wouldn't say pagan anything with it. Just crystal/oil therapy. I may even have something typed up on what it is and why this is good.

Thank's! For actual practice I would not label it Pagan but for the class project I have to specify that. I truly believe that the less you label something the better in reality because labels limit the market.

Thank You for supporting the idea! I am fighting to figure out a name, at least for the project. Right now I am thinking "Earth to Ethereal balancing". Not sure at all.
