Hello, all - I wanted to share - well, not my ideas quite, but at least the general gist that I am developing a new deck. It involves photography; I am pretty sure that it will get the attention of a publisher in the end. I am "hugging" the Visconti-style decks for the Majors, doing my own interpretations of the RWS for the Minors.

I am hoping (VERY VERY MUCH!!) to be doing this project to earn my MFA (Master of Fine Arts). I need their go-ahead for it, & I really cannot possibly do it without the student-loan money, anyway! VERY expensive. It's "mixed-media" pretty much, but in the end it will be a digital photography & manipulation project.

It's frustrating not to be able to say more, but I had an idea stolen once because I posted it - I tend to be rather too trusting when it comes to my ideas, & I'm not going to allow that to happen again. I hope everyone understands.

Just trust me when I say, it is going to be QUELLE MAGNIF`IQUE!!!

I hope to be able to show more eventually - but since the term does not start until next February (& to be strictly honest, I have yet to get through the application process! :p ), I won't have anything to show for rather some time to come. But I am bursting with plans & I hated to just sit & say nothing. Ever have that happen?? :boing:

Oh yes, I will return - I am hoping with a special website JUST for this deck, like the "professionals" do! :D

I am hunting down & investigating every aspect of this deck right now. A little like a treasure-hunt (I do need props, you see)! ;) Like, today I just won a tiny "Olde-Worlde" globe that is detatched (NOT held on a stand), a floating one if you will in a little wooden base; it is for my "World" card. :D I will share when I get a particularly good find - heheh, eBay ALL the way for this! :p A few things, like the MAIN props, I will have to get elsewhere - but the peripherals have ALL turned up on there! :D What WOULD I do without a computer?? Wouldn't be able to do it at all, is the answer to THAT! ;)

Okies, I shall return! :D
