Numerology V - Here we go for all you eager beavers! :bigredgri
For this lesson, we’re going to be dealing with *Full* and *Missing* Lines. This will add yet another dimension to your *Natal Chart*, and should be used in conjunction with what you have already discovered from the previous lessons.
Firstly *Missing Lines*. It is very unusual for anyone to be missing the single number ‘one’, consequently, the *Thought Line* (1-2-3), *Physical Line* (1-4-7) and *Determination Line* (1-5-9), are not generally covered in basic Numerology. The same applies to the *Mind Line* (3-6-9) and *Action Line* (7-8-9). These are also very rarely completely missing as everyone born in the last century all have ‘nine’ in their charts. That leaves us with three lines which could possibly be missing in a general chart. I have detailed below the meanings for each, but remember, just because you have a *Soul Line* missing, doesn’t mean you haven’t got a Soul, just that you may have an inherent difficulty with the traits associated with that line.
Missing *Soul Line* (2-5-8)
This indicates an early inferiority complex and the inability to mix and mingle with others. Lack of self esteem is also evident. However, a consoling aspect of this configuration is the ability of accurate character analysis in being able to judge a person upon first impressions. The desire to escape from reality can become apparent, as they often feel decidedly uncomfortable within the company of others. Every opportunity should be taken to become involved with people, because in doing so their introverted nature can be counterbalanced by bright, happy, and stimulating associations.
Missing *Will Line* (4-5-6)
This configuration often indicates family or home separations. It can also point to strained relationships or alienation from one or both parents during childhood. This frequently occurs through parents being over protective or too dominant in their attitude, thereby suppressing the child’s independence and natural enthusiasm. With a missing *Will Line* there is generally a lack of willpower and a subsequent tendency to give up a task at the first sign of difficulty. It follows that should these traits go unaltered, problems can occur in home and marriage because of the lack of tenacity and dedication essential to a successful partnership. Early detection of these traits will greatly diminish the problems. It is important that people without these numbers associate with go-ahead decision-making types, who can complement these weaknesses.
Missing *Compassion Line* (3-5-7)
This missing line is quite a strange one, as these aspects can often occur in someone close to the individual who has the *Compassion Line* missing, rather than the individual themselves. The associate can experience nervous pain, migraine, headaches, eye and ear trouble! This aspect in the individual denotes a lack of spiritual awareness, with greater interest being placed on the material aspects of life. These people need to broaden their outlook upon life and search more deeply from within as here the answers to their frustrations and problems will be found. They will have to work harder to find their spiritual side than someone with this line complete.
As we are dealing with whole lines, I will now go on to talk about the much more positive *Full Lines*, which are as follows:-
Full *Thought Line* (1-2-3)
This indicates a person’s creative imagination process and the ability to conceive ideas, thinking ahead to their eventual fruition. It is also associated with thought concerning the community and the well being of others. It is wise to remember that thought always precedes action, consequently a harmful thought is just as physically and mentally detrimental, as a harmful deed or action.
Full *Will Line* (4-5-6)
This line is a natural progression from the *Thought Line*. What has been conceived, can now be moulded and planned within this line. It reflects the will to succeed in the conceived task.
Full *Action Line* (7-8-9)
What has been conceived and planned, can now be put into action. As we know, some people abound in creative inspiration, but are unable to effectively plan their ideas or put them into action. Likewise, other people are not gifted with the ability to conceive ideas, but are able to plan upon other people’s concepts. This line shows the ability to put the thought process into physical action.
These three lines proceed in a perfectly orderly progression. The thought is originally conceived, is then adjusted and planned and eventually put into practice or action. Everyone needs the help of others to succeed, and experienced business people know the importance of surrounding themselves with people who possess ability in the areas that they themselves are weak in. Numerology can be very successful in determining the areas where you need help, and in determining who you need around you to support your weak areas. Funnily enough, we often find that we gravitate to those people strong in areas we are not, without knowing why!
Full *Mind Line* (3-6-9)
As opposed to the thought line that expresses our creative ability and the innermost thoughts concerning ourselves and the well being of others, the *Mind Line* expresses the actual physical mental talents, such as the level of intelligence, the ability to rationalise one’s thoughts and the degree to which imagination can be utilised in everyday life. The *Thought Line* expresses our inner most feelings which are mostly kept within us, whereas the *Mind Line* expresses the outward mental activity that is seen and heard by all.
Full *Soul Line* (2-5-8)
This line represents the centre of all being, both individually and universally. Although it is referred to as the *Soul Line* it is more aptly named the ‘innermost emotion area’. It is here that our unique individuality is expressed both inwardly and outwardly. The Soul combination rectifies the imbalance of our thoughts, especially where other people are concerned. This is achieved by either modifying out thoughts and actions to include and consider others, or by strengthening them to assist ourselves alone. These two opposite reactions depend upon the strength or weakness shown in an individual *Natal Chart*.
Full *Physical Line* (1-4-7)
This line deals purely with the physical adequacy of the body to carry through the processes of the previous mental combinations. It shows level of health, stamina, and the ability of the body to maintain a level of healthy harmonious existence. It also houses the ‘mental computer’ of our body and mind, storing experiences, likes and dislikes that obviously affect our day to day existence.
That concludes our lesson on *Lines*, and by now you should be getting a much clearer picture of your individual chart. In the next lesson (VI), and before we go on to the interpretations of single, double, triple etc numbers in the *Natal Chart*, we shall be discussing the *Laws of Life* that go hand in glove with Numerology. Meanwhile, get back to me with any comments or problems that you have with the additional material, or queries about anything you are having difficulty with. Enjoy and have fun!
