Numerology V - Here we go for all you eager beavers! :bigredgri

For this lesson, we’re going to be dealing with *Full* and *Missing* Lines. This will add yet another dimension to your *Natal Chart*, and should be used in conjunction with what you have already discovered from the previous lessons.

Firstly *Missing Lines*. It is very unusual for anyone to be missing the single number ‘one’, consequently, the *Thought Line* (1-2-3), *Physical Line* (1-4-7) and *Determination Line* (1-5-9), are not generally covered in basic Numerology. The same applies to the *Mind Line* (3-6-9) and *Action Line* (7-8-9). These are also very rarely completely missing as everyone born in the last century all have ‘nine’ in their charts. That leaves us with three lines which could possibly be missing in a general chart. I have detailed below the meanings for each, but remember, just because you have a *Soul Line* missing, doesn’t mean you haven’t got a Soul, just that you may have an inherent difficulty with the traits associated with that line.

Missing *Soul Line* (2-5-8)

This indicates an early inferiority complex and the inability to mix and mingle with others. Lack of self esteem is also evident. However, a consoling aspect of this configuration is the ability of accurate character analysis in being able to judge a person upon first impressions. The desire to escape from reality can become apparent, as they often feel decidedly uncomfortable within the company of others. Every opportunity should be taken to become involved with people, because in doing so their introverted nature can be counterbalanced by bright, happy, and stimulating associations.

Missing *Will Line* (4-5-6)

This configuration often indicates family or home separations. It can also point to strained relationships or alienation from one or both parents during childhood. This frequently occurs through parents being over protective or too dominant in their attitude, thereby suppressing the child’s independence and natural enthusiasm. With a missing *Will Line* there is generally a lack of willpower and a subsequent tendency to give up a task at the first sign of difficulty. It follows that should these traits go unaltered, problems can occur in home and marriage because of the lack of tenacity and dedication essential to a successful partnership. Early detection of these traits will greatly diminish the problems. It is important that people without these numbers associate with go-ahead decision-making types, who can complement these weaknesses.

Missing *Compassion Line* (3-5-7)

This missing line is quite a strange one, as these aspects can often occur in someone close to the individual who has the *Compassion Line* missing, rather than the individual themselves. The associate can experience nervous pain, migraine, headaches, eye and ear trouble! This aspect in the individual denotes a lack of spiritual awareness, with greater interest being placed on the material aspects of life. These people need to broaden their outlook upon life and search more deeply from within as here the answers to their frustrations and problems will be found. They will have to work harder to find their spiritual side than someone with this line complete.

As we are dealing with whole lines, I will now go on to talk about the much more positive *Full Lines*, which are as follows:-

Full *Thought Line* (1-2-3)

This indicates a person’s creative imagination process and the ability to conceive ideas, thinking ahead to their eventual fruition. It is also associated with thought concerning the community and the well being of others. It is wise to remember that thought always precedes action, consequently a harmful thought is just as physically and mentally detrimental, as a harmful deed or action.

Full *Will Line* (4-5-6)

This line is a natural progression from the *Thought Line*. What has been conceived, can now be moulded and planned within this line. It reflects the will to succeed in the conceived task.

Full *Action Line* (7-8-9)

What has been conceived and planned, can now be put into action. As we know, some people abound in creative inspiration, but are unable to effectively plan their ideas or put them into action. Likewise, other people are not gifted with the ability to conceive ideas, but are able to plan upon other people’s concepts. This line shows the ability to put the thought process into physical action.

These three lines proceed in a perfectly orderly progression. The thought is originally conceived, is then adjusted and planned and eventually put into practice or action. Everyone needs the help of others to succeed, and experienced business people know the importance of surrounding themselves with people who possess ability in the areas that they themselves are weak in. Numerology can be very successful in determining the areas where you need help, and in determining who you need around you to support your weak areas. Funnily enough, we often find that we gravitate to those people strong in areas we are not, without knowing why!

Full *Mind Line* (3-6-9)

As opposed to the thought line that expresses our creative ability and the innermost thoughts concerning ourselves and the well being of others, the *Mind Line* expresses the actual physical mental talents, such as the level of intelligence, the ability to rationalise one’s thoughts and the degree to which imagination can be utilised in everyday life. The *Thought Line* expresses our inner most feelings which are mostly kept within us, whereas the *Mind Line* expresses the outward mental activity that is seen and heard by all.

Full *Soul Line* (2-5-8)

This line represents the centre of all being, both individually and universally. Although it is referred to as the *Soul Line* it is more aptly named the ‘innermost emotion area’. It is here that our unique individuality is expressed both inwardly and outwardly. The Soul combination rectifies the imbalance of our thoughts, especially where other people are concerned. This is achieved by either modifying out thoughts and actions to include and consider others, or by strengthening them to assist ourselves alone. These two opposite reactions depend upon the strength or weakness shown in an individual *Natal Chart*.

Full *Physical Line* (1-4-7)

This line deals purely with the physical adequacy of the body to carry through the processes of the previous mental combinations. It shows level of health, stamina, and the ability of the body to maintain a level of healthy harmonious existence. It also houses the ‘mental computer’ of our body and mind, storing experiences, likes and dislikes that obviously affect our day to day existence.

That concludes our lesson on *Lines*, and by now you should be getting a much clearer picture of your individual chart. In the next lesson (VI), and before we go on to the interpretations of single, double, triple etc numbers in the *Natal Chart*, we shall be discussing the *Laws of Life* that go hand in glove with Numerology. Meanwhile, get back to me with any comments or problems that you have with the additional material, or queries about anything you are having difficulty with. Enjoy and have fun!

Okay, The only line I would consider missing is 4-5-6, but my life path number is 4, so technically that line is not missing.....is that correct?

:D

No, even though your *Life Path* number is four, you still have your *Will Line* missing. What your *Life Path* number does is add another factor to be taken into consideration. So providing you are a 'positive' four, and therefore have the attribute of tenacity, this will reduce the effect of the *Missing Line*, and makes it easier to overcome it. However, if you were a negative four, and therefore inclined to repression, this would have the effect of enhancing the negative trend of the *Missing Line*, making it much harder to overcome. Just as another example, suppose we have someone whose *Life Path* number is 8, but they are missing the *Soul Line* (2,5,8), indicating lack of confidence and self esteem. If they are a positive 8, this would indicate confidence, so they would almost cancel each other out. This person would have neither extreme. However, if they tended towards being a negative 8, they would then be dictatorial. Combine that with the missing *Soul Line*, and you have all the hall marks of a bully.

It's all about not taking numbers in isolation, but seeing how each new piece of information affects and shades the whole. Hope this explains things :bigredgri

Wow how cool!!! (Im blown away) They both are so spot on is very freaky ~ How can your birth date effect your life sooo much???
I used to be like my missing line so much and be my own self destroyer where it came to romantic relationships, because I thought I was not loved (never could be) as I didnt love myself, but I have since learnt to love myself and to not be afraid and doubt the relationship at the first sign of an argument ~ I am loved!!
All my friends are very get up and go!! and I do see how It is important that I associate with go-ahead decision-making types, all my closest frineds are like that and I quickly get fustrated with people who do fuss about and cant make decisions. My last boyfriend who taught me to belive in my decisons also taught me to love myself more than anyone and was a very loving, strong powerfull man!
As I have a full action line (very true tooo) Im guessing that this strongly effects my missing will line and helps to make me stronger and more certain of myself ~ I know I have worked on myself a great deal the last year and half and I feel so much lighter, happier and me! for it! But theres always room for improvemnt isnt there!! :D
Thank you once again Silverwitch for your wisdom!!
I really do appreciate and enjoy these lesson's and when I have a little more time I am going to start working on my sister's chart as I would like to give her this gift as part of her birthday present! (Ive got some time its the 7th of June) :D
Love and Light to you!! :sunny:

That will be a lovely present Silver Venus  a really personal acceptable gift. How can numbers be so accurate? My guess is that they are 'programmed' in at birth, a little like DNA. Mind you, I could be way off beam. All I know is that Numerology, and the Science of Numbers are incredibly accurate. Pythagoras was a brilliant mathematician and philosopher. He came up with the theory of the 'Golden Ratio' or 'Golden Mean' as it is sometimes called. This is the theory that the Universe is completely orderly, and therefore couldn't have just happened by accident. He discovered the Golden Ratio of 1:1.618. This ratio can be found in the smallest details (ie your nose is 1 and your mouth is in the ratio of 1.618 to it as are loads of other bits of your body, too numerous to list here) right up to the planets which also equate exactly to this ratio or multiples of it. Fascinating stuff, and one cannot help but be aware when studying this sort of thing, that there has to have been a 'Designer/s' for everything to be so mathematically correct!

Hope to have Numerology VI out next week, and my fingers are flying over the keys in an effort to get it up and running! Thanks for the imput :bigredgri

what about the "full" determination and compassion lines?

Dagda Moon~Lily
April 21st, 2001, 12:08 PM
Let's see, I have a Missing *Will* Line, and no Full Lines. (Once my life path number, 4 is added, I have a full *Physical* line)

My son has no Missing Lines, but a Full *Determination* Line. So, like Sahm, I would like to know that THAT means!!

My Significant Other has a Missing *Will* Line and no Full Lines.

Funny, my grid and my SO's looks similar, with a few variants....

Mine:
-- * -- * 99
22* -- * --
11* -- * 7

SO's (Jamie's)
-- * -- * 9
222* -- * --
1* -- * 77

Not much difference, but I know there's probably plenty! :D

My son's (Aric's) looks like this:

-- * -- * 999
22* 5 * --
1* -- * --

Can you see the amount of determination there??!! :D

So, where do we go from here?

Oh, and what about those born in 2000? Say someone's birthday was 5-27-2000. They WOULD be missing a number ONE and the number NINE. Their life path would be 7....so, if numberology doesn't general cover it.....how will anything be determined for them?? :D (someone has to bring up these questions!) :P

:D

So sorry Guys, I seem to have lost the *Full Determination & Compassion* lines somewhere in the copying!!! Told you all that I may be a genius as somethings, but I.T. is not one of them! Will rummage around in the innards of my machine and see where the devil it's got to. Meanwhile, just pretent that there's some mind numbingly boring music playing, whilst I place you all on hold! :bigredgri

PS As you so keenly spotted Dagda, "what about 2000" and subsequent 1's and 9's. I hope to have some info on that as well, but that too is in the 'black hole' that is my PC. Back to the music!!8O

Since we could be here for a bit, I'll pass you punch and cookies to tide us over! :D

This is great. :) Thanks for taking the time to teach. It's much more fun learning here than from a book. :) Here are my results so far (all of them, since I'm coming into the lesson late. Hope I haven't been doing this wrong.

Birth Date: November 27, 1984
Life Number: 6
Positive: Responsible, Conscientious, Humane, Loving, Unselfish, Tolerant
Negative: Nervous, Cautious, Jealous, Narrow-Minded, Pessimistic, Interfering
Known as The Teacher

This was pretty spot-on for me. Although I'm definitely less responsible than I used to be, and a bit more selfish (I'm working on that, though), I've always been fairly tolerant--at the same time, I'm realizing that I can also be fairly narrow-minded. That's changed more over the years, for the better. All the negative traits are there, especially Jealous. I tend to let my jealousy run my life at times. Interfering, Pessimistic-- oh yeah. :) Nervous to the tenth power.
I don't really feel like I should be considered a "Teacher" though-- I have little patience when it comes to helping others learn things (I'm trying to work on that)

Natal Chart:

- - 9
2 - 8
111 4 7

Missing:

3: Lack of confidence, expression and self esteem are shown here. They must learn not to underestimate their ability or sell themselves short. The normal bright number 3 can be replaced by a drab, non-demonstrative person if they are unable to realise this basic weakness early in life and so take steps towards self expression.

Dead on. Definitely me.

5: This missing number is very common and indicates a lack of drive, adaptability and versatility in life. A desire to be motivated, rather than motivate others usually follows them through life, and if not adjusted can lead to bitterness. Missing 5’s generally require the help and guidance of others around them.

Again, totally accurate. Mostly stems from my missing number three--I always have to be reassured that I'm not doing something wrong.

6: This can indicate problems and difficulties being experienced during childhood, generally with their father rather than their mother. A tendency to overlook or suppress their innermost feelings, especially concerning family matters can develop if not addressed, and problems surrounding home and marriage frequently follow the lack of this number if suppression is not sort out.

Also true, although I was raised sans father (well, I guess that could be considered the ultimate difficulty then, eh? :) Didn't start having problems with my mother until teens-- were extremely close during childhood. This one's balanced a bit by my life number being 6, then, right? Hmm--I think on this, if there's a balance, it's a very subtle one.

Full Lines:

Action: What has been conceived and planned, can now be put into action.

Would the fact that my thought and will lines aren't full and that my action line is demonstrate an ability to take action without thinking things through?

Physical: This line deals purely with the physical adequacy of the body to carry through the processes of the previous mental combinations. It shows level of health, stamina, and the ability of the body to maintain a level of healthy harmonious existence. It also houses the ‘mental computer’ of our body and mind, storing experiences, likes and dislikes that obviously affect our day to day existence.

I suppose I've been adequately healthy--no allergies, at least. :)

I have a question--do where the boxes intersect have an impact? Like, does the fact that my thought line intersects my soul and physical lines and not my mind line mean something?

Whoo. Numbers...swimming around my head....soap operas are sooo much less complicated. ;)

While we wait, i must say that who ever thought of numerology in the beginning or who ever first used it was really a genius.
I mean, imagine reading about it in ancient manuscripts and then working out how to do the equations, im batteling just in remembering them all let alone interperet them.

Alphyna:

i know i am jumping the gun a little but i need something clarified.
When calculating the hearts desire or expression number and the person has a first, middle and last name.
should one take master numbers into account when adding the vowels for hearts desire?

eg
john anthony doe

if when calculating the vowls, i encounter a master number in the sum of the vowels of the first name, do i keep the master number like when calculating destiny or do i make it one number, and then carry adding the other parts of the name?
