Scarlet's Nursery!

It is ready! :D

Now all we need is Ms. Scarlet to arrive...

I can't wait for her to be here and to enjoy her little nursery!
I go up to that room and sit on the recliner and imagine what it would be like to sit with her and nurse her.

I can't wait!

We still have some more wall decorations in mind. Our friends are buying her a scroll with her name on it to hang up as well.

Yay!

My daughter has always loved lady bugs and dragon flies and butterflies, she was so thrilled when she found some of the strip that goes around the room with this pattern, she got it, brought it home, but she was really miserable and hadn't been able to put it up. Her hubby finally felt bad for her, so to surprise her one Saturday when she was at work, he put it up for her. She WAS surprised, he hung it upside down. It is still hanging that way. Ya can't tell it is upside down unless you know it is.
Thought you could use a laugh. That room looks great! She is one lucky baby!!! Now we just need the pics of HER in it!!!! Maybe if you describe it to her, she will get curious and come out to see it for herself!!!

Reminds me of when I was expecting my first. I remember looking at those tiny little outfits and thinking wow, pretty soon there will be a tiny person in our lives that actually fits in these little clothes. :lol:

it looks great! :) Hannahs room is disney princesses too.!
She has a disney princess poster that we got at walmart and framed on her wall.
she had a disney tv in there until she spilt oj on it. :( She wasnt suppose to have drinks
in her room.

I plan on re doing her room once we move. keeping the poster,etc and then adding my
own touches.. My sister in law did the room and wouldnt let me have any imput.

plus you dont know if your apartment will be your permanent home,you may decide to find a better place someday..

Thanks everyone! I am glad it came out the way it did!

It feels so good in there. And hubby will smudge the room before Scarlet and I come home from the hospital.

So its all ready to go! Now we really just need Lady Scarlet.
I hope she decides to come out soon!

I've been talking to her, letting her know that her room is ready, that her parents are waiting, that her grandparents will be here next week, that she has lots of friends and uncles and aunts who are dying to meet her...

So she has to come out already!

Scarlet's room/nursery is absolutely beautiful. It came together quite nicely, I am glad that you got everything you needed to start at your surprise baby shower. I can't wait to see pics of your little Miss. Its been fun to read about your story from your engagement, to your wedding, to the waiting for the arrival of your first born. What an exciting time for you two. Congrats and heres hoping she comes on time. :)
