I'd be interested to hear other people's impressions of, or experiences with, Het Hert. I have felt very close to her for a long time but it is always good to get other perspectives. Maybe we can educate and inspire each other?

I've just recently felt a connection to Hethert, so I don't know too much about her right now. But, I do feel like I can pray to her for help and for healing. I'd like to put an image of her on my altar, but I have yet to find one.

Have you tried this site, Domain of Het-Hert (http://www.hethert.org/), specifically this page (http://www.hethert.org/symbolsmanif.htm).

Some of the pics might be the same but the searches are for "Hethert" and "Het-Hert" (small difference in smelling, but you never know if there might be some unique pics under one of them).

Thanks for the links! I like printing off images and painting over them to give them some detail. I think I'll be able to find one of Hethert that calls to me.

Here is a prayer for Het-Hert, said to be written by her daughter, Imakhu NeferuHethert, which I like because of it’s simplicity and it sums up how I feel about her and what she asks of me.

Het-Hert, Beautiful Mother,
Lady of Love,
Be with me, protect me,
hold me in Your arms.
Let me feel Your love
As a blessing in my life,
And help me bring it
Into the world
And give it to others.

Cassie, in your experience with Het Hert do you find her to be good at healing, or low self-esteem issues? I ask because I prayed to her this morning, and gave her offerings, and it seemed to help with my depression.

I would say yes on both issues. She is very protective in a maternal sense and she has a very firey passionate energy which I'm sure helps boost self belief and self esteem. She is also very nurturing. My feeling is that she very much wants those who come to her to grow to their full potential.
