Anyone else out there watch the WB's "Angel"?
Tonight was the season finale...WHEW! What a Cliff hanger! For any of you who are fans..what do you think will happen next season? I've been all over the net tonight, trying to find spoilers for next season. Mum is the word, thus far. They're really leaving me in the dark! UGH!!!! How can I wait all summer????????

I don't have cable so I listened to it over my friends phone (so saaaaad! :() Anyway, I could not even begin to speculate. But that is major-weird. I will keep an eye out for spoilers for you. Do you even know if everyone is coming back?

Well..so far what i've gotten, is only this little tantalizing tidbit.
Supposedly...this is an "official" whedon release..but who knows?
"Next season, Angel will realize that someone he loved, has now become his enemy and must be destroyed, and another one of his loved ones, will sink further into the abyss".
UGH! I hate this general speak! LOL.
The loved one who has become his enemy, could be Connor, or it could be Wes. Then again, either one of them could fit into the second heading, too. Both of them were people he loved, and both of them seem to be going further and further down a dark path.
Meanwhile..Cordy becoming an ascended soul? COME ON!!!!!!!! She's half demon, and she admits fear about going into the unknown. Could she somehow be "Turning"?????
And who could possibly release Angel? I think Connor will have to get him out, or Cordy, since she's now "Ascended" but how?
Lorne will probably make at least one appearance next season from what I've heard. People who leave Angel, or Buffy, almost inevitably come back at least once. And I personally think that something will happen between him, and Connor. Hey....MAYBE Lorne will read Connor's mind to figure out what happened to Angel???????????

Maybe Cordy becomes a water angel/spirit? 8O
I hate that generalized garbage too. Although with Buffy, I can usually pretty much figure out who they are talking about. Not so with Angel. Wonder why that is
OT but have you seen the previews for the new Joss Whedon show on Fox called Firefly? I think it looks really cool and I loove the name! :D

Nope..haven't seen it. I don't think i'm going to venture into that. I have a lineup of shows that i'm far too comfy with as it is.
The only "Opening" I have in my schedule, now, is Felicity.
I used to watch Angel, Buffy, Dawsons Creek, Felicity, and Charmed. The only one which is not reappearing next season, is Felicity. I won't abandon any of the other shows. LOL..I'm such a geek. How many 27 year olds do you know who like these shows? LMAO. Other than that, I don't watch any network TV. I don't like sitcoms, or anything. I either watch the totally silly shows, such as those on UPN and the WB that I've mentioned above, or I watch History Channell, A & E, TLC, etc. And I feel pretty embarrassed about watching the "fantasy" shows as it is..lol.
Psssssst...by the way..did you hear that David Boreanaz and his Real life wife just had a baby boy recently? His name is Jaden. I think that's such a cool name!

That is a cool name. I heard they had a boy but not the name.
As far as age goes. I watch Buffy, Angel (when I can), Seventh Heaven (go figure!), and Charmed and I will be 27 in October. I have a friend who is 30 and she not only watches them, she tapes them all. Come to think of it so does another friend of mine who is 28. Oh, wait, I have a friend who is in his late 40's and he tapes them all too. So, hmmmmm :D I just think it means that we all have really good taste! :)
And we are all like you too. It's either WB or the History Channel. Although I am partial to Animal Planet and the Food Network too. The only sitcom I watch is "Friends." That happens because I don't have cable at my house and it's on 24/7. I like it. But if I want to watch any of the others, I have to go to friends or go to the main house.
I don't feel embarassed about watching anything. I watch what I watch. I loooooooove the game show network. But of course I got over TV embarassment at a young age since, like my parents, I'm a Trekkie :D

LOL..never been a trekkie.
I have been known to watch "Who wants to be a millionaire"..and ..the epitomy of stupid, "Real World" on MTV..though I'm not diligent about it. That's just when there is nothing else on.

:o I always found the "Millionaire" questions painfully dumb and when I did watch it I would end up SCREAMING at the screen! That doesn't mean I didn't try and get on the show ;)
I prefer Jeopardy myself. I am trying to get in to UCLA and if I move out there I am going to try out for it :D

ok age has nothing to do with it ..or I'm a big geek (ok prob the later) but I'm 32 and watch Buffy, ngel, charmed Dawson's creek and friends. If I can't watch i will tape them..can't miss an episode. Yes I even have first season buffy on dvd. On angel I think somehow Cordy will save Angel, not sure how though.

Okay, I'm 29, and I'm a big Buffy addict too. . . And Felicity. So don't feel bad.
As to Angel spoilers, I hear there's a great deal of doubt as to whether or not Charisma Carpenter will be back next season, and that's the reason for all this. At best guess, she'll only do a few episodes.
I recently read an interview with DB, and it lowered my opinion of him terribly - he was really nasty about all the Buffy cast, very resentful. He didn't invite a single one of them to his wedding, while Nicholas Brendon's wedding, a month before, was in InStyle Magazine and had all the casts of both shows smiling and interacting - minus DB. Sad.
I also have friends who work for the WB, and they usually provide me with set rumors ;)

Caught the last couple of minutes....haven't watched Angel for a while, but that was almost enough to interest me again.
I've got one question though....What happened to Wesley??? I missed this part of the season probably.

I just know that I am going to bawl my eyes out! I heard that Felicity was picked up by the "WE" network, which unfortunately, my cable doesn't provide.
I would REALLY like to see a "Felicity" reunion someday...i doubt it will happen, though :( I just wish that upn or wb, or some channell like that would run it in sindication...:(

Ok...there was a prophecy stating that Angel would devour his son, and at one point, Angel was going a bit cooky. So Wesley stole Connor (angels son) when he was still a baby, and Angel's enemy Holtz got a hold of him. Wesley was just going to take connor away for his own protection, but couldn't bring himself to tell Angel of the prophecy. So..Holtz get's a hold of Connor, and takes him to a Hell dimension. Holtz assistant slashes wesley's throaght to get the baby. And when Angel finds out that Wesley took Connor, and how Holtz got a hold of him, he is unable to forgive Wesley, and would have liked to kill him. Wesley, of course, almost having his life taken from him, feels utterly betrayed, since he was trying to do the "Right" thing for the baby. Now...his bitterness over what happened is starting slowly to turn him against Angel. Poor Wes :(
