I’m not sure of how “approved” my methods are, but I tend to follow my own path. I’ve never cast a circle, and rarely used anything to assist me with my magick save for crystals. I don’t use it much – especially now, because of the seeming lack of positive, pure energy in the area in which I live. I’m hoping this is the right area to post this – the only reason I’m doing so is due to a dream I had last night.
I’ll begin by explaining exactly what I do…
I discovered around age 15 that I was particularly attuned to the weather – I could feel storms before they even arrived… and I could break or make them, so to speak… I haven’t touched that ability in well over a year, but last night I had a dream where that power was amplified to the point of causing destruction – think Storm from the “X-men” but not as fast. Weather is a delicate thing – you can’t rush it.
I was standing in my parent’s driveway back in PA – rural, open fields. It was around November or so, but as usual, no snow. All it took was a little thought, and clouds began to form, slowly turning into a massive snowstorm. I’ve had dreams like this before… premonitions more like, and the majority of them have happened.
I suppose in this instance, my questions are why now? After so long of not using it, I’ve rather lost my faith in that path, especially after some particularly unnerving experiences (http://www.mysticwicks.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=15541) … Could it happen? Having that kind of power dumped on my shoulders rather bothers me.
