In the book _Every Woman's Battle_ (I think the author was Shannon Etheridge) there's this bit about the "tabletop", which is the self, on four "legs", or aspects of life/the self, which need to be balanced: the spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical aspects of the self. I realized that these "legs" correspond to the 4 Kabbalistic worlds, which in turn correspond with the Elements: Fire, Air, Water, and Earth.

The book _Captivating_ (by Stasi and John Eldredge), talks about Woman as representing an important aspect of God: that of beauty (not just physical beauty, of course.) They write about Eve as the crown of God's creation, and even as an "incarnation" of God--I'm sure they didn't mean "incarnation" in the same sense as Jesus is the Incarnation of God, but the point was well taken: women, as well as men, are made in God's image and as such embody aspects of God's character. They almost admitted that God has a feminine side!

Anyway, my Christian witch path involves the Elements and spiritual feminism, among other things, so I felt like sharing.
