Hello,
I don't know if a poll like this has already been posted, but if not, here it is! :) What is your favorite sabbat and why?

Also I've allowed multiple choice for the people who have ties between their favorites. :)

be well,

Oiche Shamna is definitely my favorite.

I love the weather and the atmosphere that comes with it. The family is usually together at this time and we become very "hearth-focused" or family oriented. Samhain rituals are very powerful almost to the point where it is scary...which I like as well.

Bealtainne would be my second.

Winter Solstice, definitely. Winter is so long and cold and bitter and dark here that the Solstice-time is this amazing festive time that we just latch onto as our big excuse to gather together and party. I love the festive community feeling of it.

I voted Samhain and Beltane because they have amazing energy to them.

This year for Samhain I'm going to the cemetry and tell the spirits there that people still care for them. Last year I set up an altar for my ancestors and relatives who've passed to honor them. Its a very spiritual time for myself.

Beltane is amazing because of the Maypole Dance, it has a sexual nature, but I think its also a time for friends, and that means a lot to me, so its another spiritual time for me. :)

be well, keep votin'! :)

I love Imbolc. Flame festivals are awesome, candles are cool, and I have a wonderful time making Brigid's crosses. As I consider her my patron Goddess and muse, it comes in first. I also love Mabon, cause food is good, and Samhain.

I voted "Mabon" and "Samhain". I love the autumn and winter, so naturally the celebrations of these two seasons are my favourite.

I missed that it was multiple choice, to. Lol. Wouldn't have mattered much. I said Yule cos, while I love fall best, I love sitting in my nice warm house with a nice fire watching the grey bleak weather thast despresses everyone else. Even when I wasn't openly Pagan, I loved Christmastime best because everyone's nicer, the house always smells like baking and friends and family are always coming and going.
Next to Yule, I'd probably say Lughnasadh, but then Lugh is one of my lesser patrons, so there's that. Lol. Then Imbolc, then Samhain/Beltaine (they're tied), then Midsummer, and Mabon.

I love Samhain with a passion! I wish I had people to celebrate it with. Beltane is my second favorite, because I love spring. I need that spring celebration after winter. Winter can be beautiful, but it can also be harsh. Maybe if I never had to drive in winter I would love it more! lol. Midsummer is my third favorite, it's such an enchanted time of year.

My favourite time of the year begins in September with the first falling leaves and rains and ends somewhere in January. So my favourite sabbat is Samhain!<3 I'll have to agree with what everyone said about it.I have a special connection to it,it was the first i ever celebrated and recognized. It's so magical to feel the veil between the two worlds thin every day.I love the pumkins and all the symbols of this feast.

I also love Yule because it's the most exciting time of the year with the rebirth of the young God,the yule cards and presents, the tree. When i was a Christian i always enjoyed Christmas the most.Beltane is my third favourite although it belongs in spring. It's very sexua, happy, colourful and fairy-like.

I like Mabon because it's the most social of the holidays with Pagan Pride Day and everything. Also it's before the rush of the conventional winter holidays and I like the balance of light and dark concept.

I think all the Sabbats have a "something special" about them. I voted Imbolc though because of the newness of life, spring is starting and we have a wonderfully pretty ritual with candles. I love Beltane and Samhain too and the energies around the festivals.....oh and the food!!

So many Autumn and Winter lovers here.. of which I am one!!
Samhain by far is my favorite. The time of year, great memories, and I feel especially close to the Goddess this time of year.

Definitely a fall-lover here, though I don't really celebrate the sabbats in the way that most people would. Still, by far my favorite season :)

Ostara, Samhain, and Yuletide.

Depending on the calendar, me and my sister were born on or the day before Ostara, so it's pretty close to my life. I like not being cold anymore. :D

Samhain has been my favorite since childhood; I like fall and the changing leaf colors (before everything starts dying, that is). I also have good memories of Halloween and trick-or-treating.

Yuletide is one of the most obvious favorite holidays; everyone's in a good mood, we have a break from school, and we get presents from at least half of our relatives (of which there are many) :D.

Samhain. Honestly I think part of it is that I'm a tad obsessed with death. Also I like candy.

Samhain, most definitely. Even as a kid I just KNEW there was more to Halloween than candy and it was always my favorite time of year. I still love digging for tidbits on the history of Samhain.
