Hah! Scared you didn't I?
I'll be gone for the weekend so if anyone has spare energy to dispose of please keep my family in your thoughts for a safe journey.
I wish I could say this will be a pleasurable trip but going "home" never is. Luckily... I can survive 2 days in hell.
I hope to spend some time at the ocean and collect some water from my old hang out (I miss the beach!).
I'll try to check back on Saturday before heading out so if anyone wants anything let me know!
Thanks in advance! And if anyone is on OC and wants to meet up let me know!

I can't get into my regular (not MW) email for some odd reason so I thought I'd let everyone know through B'Net that I made it safely.
The last 24 hours has been interesting to say the least. My husband decided not to join us so I will be spending a couple extra days catching up with old friends, playing at the beach, and hopefully going to either Disneyland or Knott's Berry Farm with the kids. I will be back home and available Thursday.
The drive was eventful (after taking dh back to the house). A deer ran out in front of my car but I saw it and stopped in time. I-70 was closed to accidents and road conditions so I drove around the mountain so I could get back on I-70 and the snow was pretty bad. I found a restroom in the middle of nowhere but we had to cross a flooded out camp ground to get to it. A boulder decided it liked my lane of the highway (again I stopped in time). We saw a big rig flipped on its side and hanging off the mountain. And I'm quite sure I'm forgetting to mention part of our fun.
I couldn't get a hotel room so I'm pulling another trip on no sleep... which is ok because I'll be having more fun than originally planned.
I'll keep trying my email but if anyone needs to get in touch with me you can try here too.

WOW is all I can say that is more excitement than I would want on a trip. Good safe energy coming your way for a less eventful return! :)

Azure: I'm sorry I missed you while I was in Memphis. I'm hoping to be back out in late July or I'll catch up with you in October.
I wish you were here too so we could be hanging out and causing hell (yes this is my old stomping grounds).

I'm sure that you are having a lovely time in California. I live right near OC. All I can say is that the weather there has been absolutely perfect for the last few days. Hope you are having a lovely time with your family.

I'm in Garden Grove (right near Disneyland basicly).
I'm having a great time! I could very easily fall back into the lifestyle here.... which is entirely too bad because I feel conceited right now (which is a Cali trait).
If anyone who's nearby wants to meet up just let me know... I'm hoping the cloud cover burns off soon so I can go play at the beach!

Just want to be the first to welcome you back to Colorado, Dawny!
(OK, I cheated... I posted this right after you left Cali. :D )
