I've been in the astrology rounds for quite a while yet I am still a n00b in some parts. This is one of them. Certian planet returns, what happens?
I know the planet return for Sun- okay I know the planet returns for pretty much every planet but Venus and Mercury. Someone here on this board knows.
I know a Venusian return would probably refer to further expressing wants, desires, and likes more than usual and a Mercury return might simply be speaking up more but a little help wouldn't hurt. Help >.<'

Here are some sites I found helpful.

I'm sorry that I couldn't find more, but honestly, I'm not able to spend lots of time with this right now. Hope this helps. I did notice that the one sight has a bunch of book recommendations. I have many of them, and when things settle down some for me I will look in them to see what is there and share with you. You have peeked my interest enough to make me want to explore this.
Thanks

that's interesting because last night I had a dream about seeing the moon so close that I could actually see into one of it's really deep black craters. It was huge!

Thank you very much for the links. They told me some things but I still would like something more in-depth rather than really vague and a lead in to join their site. (Oi) Thank you very much tho! Anyone else know anything?

Well, being an Aquarius riser, I know everything :hehehehe:
Dont let anyone tell you any different...unless they are Aquarian themselves. :yayah:
So anyway, your question....
Always read that a Solar retun would tell you about the year ahead, or rather all things sunny; for Venus, all thing Venusian etc etc.
My recent idea (within the last few days) is for the planetery return to tell you about all the matters relating to the house it rules/lord of.
I have Leo on my 7th cusp, so a solar return would tell me about all things to do with partner/one-to-one relationships.
Just a brand new idea, worth a look.
Though would be harder to focus on one area, rather than looking at it as a standard natal for yearly prediction techniques - which would be the standard way about looking at it.
Questions? I have a few!

Kodachi and all,
We are always spiraling back to where we started; on the Way around we learn. Each planet (representing a powerful part of your greater Self) started somewhere, marked by your Natal scope. Each planet takes a different amount of time to venture out and return home, having traveled all around the whole zodiac and experieced a bunch.
You mentioned Venus. Venus is about how we LOVE and how we attract and how we charm - also how we express the artist within, and how we make peace and create beauty, for ourselves and others. Now if you have Venus in the first house, you were born BEING very Venusian. With Venus in the 2nd House, you were born to learn about Love and Beauty from Gaia herself, from nature. Venus in the 3rd House folk discovered Love and Venus through siblings and close community.
But I have Venus in the 8th House! So for me and for others with Venus in the upper hemisphere, we discovered the Venus within us through other people, or through studying the great romantics, or through throwing ourselves in a cause etc. STILL T Venus goes round and round and as she travels through our natal houses she invites us to experience the power of Venus (love and beauty and relationship) in every area of our lives.
So when a planet returns to it's Natal position, we have gone full circle and it is a great time to look back over the whole cycle. What houses are toughest for our Venus side? What would we do different next time around?
