~~Oops, realized i put this in new pagans, i meant it in just pagan >< sorry about that~~

Im not sure if this is the right forum for this thread but please feel free to move it if necissary.
Let me first give you a bit of background on this "work environment". My hubby took a second job as a carrier for the newspaper. So I decided I would help out and go 3 times a week to help assemble the adds for his "bench" and the person next to him. Whenever I go, and this has happened since the first day I have gone I have ended up feeling sick and dizzy. Now at first I thought it might be claustrophobia (sp), but the area is very open and I have never ever had a problem with enclosed spaces. I didnt put this in the paranormal forum because I dont think this is, however I do think there is something going on here. My hubby hasnt had any problems there but then again he has never been as "sensitive" as me. Im activily trying to find a different job but job openings in this town are slow, so Im wondering what I could do to help prevent me from feeling this way or even protecting me if you will. Any suggestions?

Sounds like you're doing the same job I used to do.

I bet there are a lot of people around you,
have you ever looked into empathic abilities?
Also, if it is an older facility there might be something paranormal.

I can't be too sure, I hope you can find a workable solution though and stop feeling that way.

I have never looked into empathic abilities- yet, but i will now. usually when i am there it is the family that owns that distribution center. and that includes the husband, wife, and 2 girls. but there are a lot of people that go in and out of that building every day. i have to go back on wednesday and will see if this feeling comes back, im sure it will. but in the meantime i will try and do some reading. i dont want to do anything intrusive but i would like to stay protected.

The most non-intrusive thing to do would work on shielding yourself while you are there. That way, it's just about protecting yourself and not outwardly doing anything to the people / space around you.

I just wanted to give you guys a quick update. this was the first day back at work for me since i wrote that first post. and i spent time researching shielding and found the best method for me and mentally prepared and shielded myself before going in. and i think for the most part it worked! i have never had to shield myself before and i did end up getting that sick feeling but only for maybe 2 mintues at the most. so i would say it was a success, thank you guys for your suggestions, i appreciate it.

glad you found something that works!
the more you practice shielding the more efficient you become with it...
it's like second nature eventually.
