Where can I find more info on the properties of stones and crystals? All responses greatly appreciated.

There's a great book called "Love Is In the Earth" by Melody. Despite the cheezy title, the book is excellent. It's about 2 inches thick & has almost everything you want to know on just about any stone or gem out there. Check at your local library.

There's a bit of info on that here at MW of course, and some sites that will tell you properties magically and as far as one's health as well. If you use a search engine and search for gemstone properties then you'll find tons of sites.

I agree with Wildchild, Melody is very informative. She actually has a couple of appendices also, with more info than you could ever need!

The web sites I've found most useful are:

http://www.angelfire.com/on/wicca/StonesMetals.html

http://www.angelfire.com/realm/mystifyingmoon/Stones_Crystals.html

http://demeteria.tripod.com/stones_crystallore.htm

http://www.wicca.com/celtic/stones/stones0.htm

Hope those help!
