Again, I will attach my cards this evening when I get to my home computer! :D

This card to me represents a completed cycle.

I get the feeling that the elements are protecting the figure in the middle.

You have everything you need at hand. I feel this is a success card. I think this card shows balance and stability. Everything is coming together.

The fool has come to end of his journey and its the end/top of his cycle/wheel!
He has everything now! Success and Joy!
The woman is surrounded by the four holy creatures, elements and suits of the Tarot! And looks like Aphrodite herself by her poise and silk wrapped round her naked body! She is spinning the wands of ambition and is flying high in the sky! (another very common depiction of these card is a deity both man and woman ~ see my cards)

A great card! one which I always love to see! :D

Success! The journey of the fool has come to an end...or is it the beginning? :D

Equillibrium is acheived and the lessons of life have been learned. The elements are represented in earth, air, fire and water; along with the fifth of spirit (I feel this is the female figure, the Venus/Aphrodite pose and represents deity).

Can't wait to begin the lessons on the minor arcana!!

I am pretty much of the same mind.
It feels to me that everything comes full circle. The completion of the journey. In tune with all of the elements.

Is that okay?

I still have to catch up on the other Major Arcana....tee-hee :)

Yes, i know, I should be catching up :)
Back to work I go.......

I feel everyone is getting pretty much the same thing with this card! I think it's just one of those feel good cards when you see it in a reading!

Great job everyone! Keep them coming! :D

here are my world cards

http://webhost.bridgew.edu/jllavoie/tarot/major21.jpg

To me, this card symbolizes the ultimate synthesis. It is the great "seed" or "mother" from which all things spring

Every seed contains within it the potential energy required for growing as well as the necessary genetic code. This is called intellique.

it is not so much the end of a journey as the embodiement of all and everything which is beyond the conception of human intellect.

That is why the Haindl card (the one on the right) has a dragon type thing...because what ever embodied all the potentiality of humanity, would also embodie the myths of our psyche.

Cheers

DESCRIPTION

It's Thanksgiving Day. You've just finished a delicious meal, and there's a hot mug of coffee in your hand. Friends and family are arguing about the latest fiasco, the baby's cooing at you from across the table, and your feet are rubbing the belly of a devoted mutt. You're happy, fulfilled and truly thankful (at least until you have to start the dishes!). For this moment, the World and everything in it is yours.

We all recognize this feeling. It can come at any time or place and is always welcome. We can feel it at home raking the leaves or on the world stage accepting the Nobel Prize. It can seem quiet and simple, or wild and glorious. What is this feeling, and where does it come from? Card 21 can help us find out.

A major element of happiness is wholeness - the sense that everything is working together in harmony. Not in a static way, but with dynamic balance. Involvement is also important. To be happy, we must feel connected - engaged with what is around us. There is also accomplishment - knowing that we have goals and are moving toward them successfully. When all these elements come together, we feel fulfilled and blessed.

The World represents these moments and all that goes into them. In readings, it is a very positive sign that you are in a position to realize your heart's desire. What that is for you depends on the situation, but it will always feel great. Remember, though, that Card 21 is a symbol of active contribution and service. To hold the World in our hands, we must give of ourselves to it. That is the source of true happiness.
