If this needs to be moved, I understand.
I am wondering which metals/colors work well with amber and turquoise. I recently bought some beads to make a necklace for my stepmother for her birthday in October, but I want to add something else. She's very earthy and loves flowers and gardening, but she also loves the water. She has a pool and swims regularly and has two ponds and a stream on her property, but is not very beachy. She and my dad live on a farm. She dosen't currently work, but for years she managed day care centers and she and my dad were foster parents for about ten years. She's well traveled and something of a rockhound, along with my dad.
I was considering something earthy, like a leaf that's been bronzed, or a shape of a leaf or another larger stone. I'm not really leaning toward a flower, shell or sanddollar.
Does anybody have any ideas for me? I'm pretty much open to anything. Thanks!
