I will post my cards later this evening when I get to my home computer. :D
I believe that this cards shows we are vulnerable. Opening our soul to be judged and for all to see. A time to bear your soul.
I feel it's about re-birth. Refreshing the spirit.
I also feel this is a card of decisions, it's time to make them.
A time to come clean....fess up. If you've been keeping/hiding something, now is the time to reveal it; get it off your chest.....get the skeletons out of the closet. :P

Wow yeah!! I never thought of it like that before ~ it is a very vulnerable card!
This card suggests exactly what its called ~ that a judgement has to be made!! Once a judgement has been made new positive ideas will emerge, things will be lifted, stones uncovered and you will feel so much better! 9 times out of 10 If this card comes up the querrant always knows about it!!
Maybe your not seeing or wanting to ignore the heart of the matter and have to be more forthright with people and situations in your life.
Its also a time to be truthfull ~ again like Dagda said ~ confess all or someone has to confess all to you!
Like all the cards this card be for the spiritual, material or emtional ~ or all three!
Judge and be Judged!

The Robin Wood doesn't show the angel trumpeting the day of judgement and the dead rising to be judged.
My card shows a fire filled cauldron with a woman emerging from it and a golden phoenix rising with wings outspread. Definitely a card of rebirth. Her arms are raised, outstretched like the Goddess position of some paths.
This to me is a card of renewal, change, spirituality, and rebirth.

I also have the Robin-Wood deck.
It kind of says to me that she is totally exposed and everything that has been gained from life's lessons is open and free. She has attained the supposed "unattainable" and emerges from the flames transformed by her knowledge. It is the card of rebirth, growth and beneficial change. She is openly exposed for all to see and judge, but she seems to be fearless of persecution. She is openly proud of everything she has accomplished and with that knowledge comes freedom.
I hope that makes sense.
I am just tossing words as they come to mind. I find that if I over analyze, I lose the meaning completely sometimes.
I hope this is right. I am back to the books to check it.

I just looked at my Robin Wood cards and came to this conclusion:
The phoenix in the back ground has a hold on the girls wrists, he is presenting her for judgment. She has no control, since she was raised from the firey cauldren, but she is resolved with pride, strength and fortitude to face her judgment with an open heart and mind. The phoenix is supporting her, protecting her....he is her backbone from which she draws strength and courage. The phoenix it's self represents rebirth. Every thousand years, a phenix is reborn through fire. Ending an old cycle and begining a new one fresh and revived...though through this transformation, the young phoenix is still vunerable. This is a process that MUST be undergone. There is no choice in the matter. It's simply another step, something we all must face by ourselves physically, but with help from another realm. This is indicated to me, through the cauldren and flames. It's a wiccan way to commune with the other side...a porthole of sorts.
Okay, I think I've gone on long enough... If any one has any input, please post it! :D

To me, this card symbolizes the unity of the flesh and spirit or the unity of the earth and sky.
I hate when I draw this card, its so ambigious to me its hard to get my brain around!

This card to me is the call to face yourself, your soul, your life. The need to make ammends for past hurts, and/or the joy of moving on to the next level. Either way, your soul is laid wide open for all to see, especially by ourselves.:elf:

DESCRIPTION
On Card 20, we see people rising up at the call of an angel. It is Judgment Day, when the faithful are brought to heaven, but what about those who are not saved? Have they been judged and found wanting? For their sins, will they be denied the presence of God? It is this aspect of judgment that is unsettling. How can judgment be reconciled with forgiveness?
In fact, judgment comes in two forms. The hurtful kind says, "What you did is wrong, and you are bad and worthless for having done it." This type of judgment separates and leaves no room for redemption. It is possible to judge without condemning. We assess the matter, weigh all sides and try to discern the truth. We recognize the need to choose and hope for the courage to do so wisely - but without blame.
In readings, Card 20 can be a reminder that judgments are necessary; sometimes you must decide. At such moments, it is best to consider the matter carefully and then commit yourself without censure. If you are being judged yourself, learn from the process. Take what is of value, correct what needs correcting, but never lose sight of your worth.
Card 20 also stands for the feelings that come with salvation. When the angel calls, you are reborn - cleansed of all guilts and burdens. The past and its mistakes are behind you, and you are ready to begin anew. You may even feel a calling - a personal conviction of what you are meant to do. If you are in a low period, in need of hope and absolution, Judgement can show you that renewal is at hand.
