Mars in Aries

MM+BB All,

I was looking through my Natal Chart again the other day and I discovered that I have Mars in Aries. What exactly does this mean? I am aware that Mars and Aries both denote Fire, but aside from this I am unsure as to the relevance of both of these.

Could anyone tell me what this means and also how common the incidence of this is? I look forward to your replies with interest. I have my Sun in Sagittarius, my Ascendant in Gemini, my Midheaven in Aquarius and a Cancer Moon.
