Tree Magick


Apple: The apple tree is a tree of honor, it’s a working tree, useful in matters of love, healing and faith and it is sacred to the Goddess. Teaches us Honor.

Ash: The ash is a sacred tree of sensitivity and intuition. It’s a deep medicine tree for reverence of live, focus, peace and awareness. Teaches us Reverence

Banyan: The banyan tree is a sacred tree of continuing luck and good fortune. It earths the manna of heaven with it’s many roots. Teaches us Luck.

Beech: The beech is a very physical working tree. It helps by giving one steadfastness in organizing the achieving goals and wishes. Teaches us Steadfastness.

Birch: The birch is a powerful tree for protection and purification. It’s a working tree that helps by giving gentle yet firm maternal support and care. Teaches us Support.

Hickory: This is the Sacred tree of endurance. It’s beneficial to those who must be firm in their beliefs and courageous in their action. Teaches us Endurance.

Maple: This is a working tree that helps in matters of kinship and love. It fires the enthusiasm and gives energy for relationships. Teaches us Kinship.

Oak: This is a sacred tree of earth magick and spiritual strength. It represents the highest dimension of awareness and philosophical ideas. Teaches us Magick.

Palms, Dates, Coconut, Banana Trees: Thes are working trees for abundance and fertility. The full crops represent renewal of life’s fruits under limited conditions. Teaches us Renewal.

Pecan: This is a working tree for prosperity. The richness and sweetness of the nutmeat represents luxuray. Teaches us Prosperity.

Pine: this is a sacred tree of spiritual and emotional expression. It’s evergreen leaves and tapering, reaching branches direct spiritual growth through emotions. Teaches us Emotions.

Redwood: This is a sacred elder tree of truth. It’s a strong tree for people involved in intellectual pursuits along the path of truth. Teaches us Truth.

Willow: This is a working tree, the greatest healing is by gental flexibility and loving nature. It’s a tree of great strength and grace. Teaches us Grace.

This is nice! I love trees! :) I know theres a site where u can accually find out what tree u are! :)

Just curious: When you say "Indian," do you mean Native American or from India? The reason I ask is becuase you have Banyan trees listed and as far as I know they are not native to, nor do they grow in North America (again, as far as I know), only India, etc.

But then Redwood trees are also listed and it they are restricted to the western coast of the United States and Nevada and China.

I'm only asking these questions because I am more curious about the origin of the information because my Grandfather incorporates tree lore into his practice and there are some questions about whether or not his family practice has any connection to or has been influenced by Native American religions (because of a mishandled adoption, long story.) Thanks! :)
