I don't know if I have a favorite, but the two I like the most are Robin Wood and Shapeshifter. I would love to find the *perfect* deck, but that's probably impossible unless I could make my own. I might give that a try someday.

I would say Cosmic Tribe, because i absolutly LOVE the artwork. Robin Wood is a close second, but only because the Minor Arcana is more than swords and wands, and has alot of people and depiction of actions.

But Cosmic Tribe is absolutly wonderful.

There are so many beautiful decks out there. I'm always tempted to buy them just for the artwork, although I don't use my Tarot as often since I started using the runes.

I love the Osho Zen deck! Very beautiful cards, and the first that I have picked up that the images strongly called to me. I haven't seen anyone else talk about this deck - anyone else out there ever used it?

My favorite set is the Arthur set I have lots of others but it is the one I feel most comfortable with and I love the art work on it and the different representations of the cards. I also have Toth though I don't use it much as I find the images difficult to meditate on. The Arthur set has one critacisum though the cards are a little too wide for people with small hands to shuffle

My current favorite is the Mountain Dream Tarot. I'm rather fond of the Sprial as well.

Well . . .I must be an old-fogey because I still prefer the Waite-Rider deck for readings; although, I do own several different decks. I also like my Kalevala deck, but more because of the mythology involved and not the cards themselves.

I find too many of the decks to be redesigns of the Waite-Rider deck anyway, using the same symbolism but mostly offering only slight differences in the art by adopting various themes. In the end, it comes down to what is most visually pleasing to you as well being intuitively useful for readings.

It could be that one has a preference for a deck based on its visual attraction and another for actual readings.

My current favorite is the Quest Tarot, I still use the Russian Tarot of St Petersburg ocassionally though, and after what I've heard about the two decks I could very well end up going out and getting copies of the Robin Wood 7 Osho Zen decks.
