I lost one of my favorite video games. I've turned the house upside down looking for it, but it's still nowhere to be found. Is there a spell I can cast that'll help me find it?

I've never actually cast any spells, athoer than a little visualization for a sick friend of mine. How does pendulum magic work? Is that the thing where you make a pendulum out of string and quartz, dangle it around, and wait for it to react to whatever object it is you're looking for?
