hey everyone,
my name is Sparrow. I'm back looking into Pagan Spirituality and I'm just browsing through MW.... I started off looking into Wicca and it doesn't really fit me.... I'm fairly Eclectic and Solitary... I'm a very spiritually intuned person although, I prefer to call myself either a Pagan or just a Witch. I've been reading a good number of books, Starhawk, Phyllis Curot, Vivianne Crowley as well as some books by Raven Grimiassi and another author I can't remember... I'm more into nature oriented stuff, like working with animals and herbs... as well as Celtic Folklore and Mythology.
I like working with Faeries, Spirit Guides, and some Native American stuff too. I guess I'm just all over the place. I'm a freshman in college only 18 but I hope my school is very diverse as I wear my pentacle openly. one of the philosopies I've heard is that "not all Pagans are Wiccan, but all Wiccans are Pagans" something to that extend. I've also had serveral disagreements with snotty teens claiming to know a lot about Wicca, but just use spells and don't respect any of the spirituality behind it... I hope that isn't everyone... :)
I'm pretty friendly... so just look for me, I'll be around.
