Em Hotep,
I have been studying wicca for a year (which isnt very long) and I have yet to figure out what I am exactly because of all the labels going around. I do follow wiccan beliefs, I dont do magick (except maybe light a candle and say a few words), I do worship nature and Wesir (Osiris) so where does that leave me? Confused. eheh :) I would like to know others opinions on this (what you would consider my practice) and labels in general.

Don't worry about labels, I don't. Many folks think they need them.
Now, if someone wants to slap a UPC code on your behind, tell them to BUG OFF!

Thats right dont worry about them you know your beliefs and what they mean to you!!
I know for sure I am pagan, as far as wiccan that is the path I now am checking out ! I read everything I find on wicca, but there are so many groups with different views I'm not sure!! So like an addict I grab anything I can find on the subject !
They love me at the book store!!

Be what you are, ignore all labels except those you wish to give yourself. Even then be wise enough to know that they don't define you.

as the rest have said, don't worry about labels. you know who you are and what you believe. what the rest of the world thinks is less than important

MM,
Thanks for the input! I know I shouldnt worry what others think but I am just looking for a word (or words) to define me. I agree that label arent the most important aspect. I have checked out Kemet.org a few weeks ago and I was going to take beginners classes but I had a dream that told me I wasnt ready? So I havent done much lately plus changing religions is a huge step (or even thinking about it) and I think I choked (got scared). If you have any info onthe Kemetic faith Id like to hear about it :).

Labels are fine for cans and boxes.
They shouldn't be used for people.

Go ahead and sigh up for the probationers class...there is no obligation and the people are great--its a terrific email chat type class...
And you get to learn alot
There are 2 types of followers of Kemet, remtje and Shemsu. Remtje don't have to give up any other religions... Shemsu do...so you can take your pick
Good luck
I am a Remtje (i think i am spelling that wrong!)
