:D Me too! I love trees & plants. There's a really good book called Tree Medicine, Tree Magic. Can't remember the author right now...I think it' Ellen Evert Hopman? I'll check my bookshelf tonight. And another one called Language of Trees by Twylah Nitsch (sp?). They're not really just on tree magic, but more on the folklore of trees & their history & usages.

Thank ya much. :) :) :) :) :) I'm going to search in google.com for some web sites about the subject, I think I'll check out Amazon.com for some more books also. If I find any that I think may be of interest I'll be sure to post them. :) BB and MP!

Great! I'm going to check those sites in just a second, just as soon as I have typed these lines.

Yes, I also love trees! I live in the city and feel so deprived :( My favorite is the birch. To me, it's a maiden with hanging green hair. She reminds me of Summer Solstice, because we always used to bring young birch trees from the forest and stick them on our yard at Summer Solstice when I was a kid. It is still celebrated like that in Finland. Sigh. I want to go for a walk in the woods.

Ah yes, I too feel deprived, I live in Tampa, Florida. Stupid city, rawr! Anyways, I used to live out in the middle of nowhere, it was great! Tons of trees, heh. Yeah.. well, I should be going to Busch Gardens soon, so maybe I can spot some pretty cool trees there.. probably Palm trees, but a trees a tree! :D Hope all goes well with you. BB and MP!

I, too, love trees...Though I live in the middle of no-where around a ton of trees. Maple are my fave (I mean, I only have *five* in my yard, after all...and those are just the maples. )
