View Full Version : Help save Alaska from oil drilling!

President Bush, Senator Murkowski, and oil industry executives are shamelessly peddling drilling in Alaska. Their proposal would have a devastating environmental impact, and it is estimated that the oil would only supply the U.S. for about 200 days!
Take action! Tell your Senators to ban drilling rigs in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.

I work through lots of activist type sites and was wondering if it would be appropriate to add links in my signature. And, if it were, how long can the signature be? Oh, and while I'm at it, is there a place I can add them here as well?

I'm not up for the idea of drilling in Alaska and I really believe we need to depend on something other then fossil fuels. But in all honesty, as much as I feel we need to preserve our beautiful earth.. I need to be able to get to work!!! I need gas prices to go down. Selfish yes I guess I am but I need to feed my child if I can't afford to drive my car I can't get to work.:(
